Thanks to all the big names here and all their help and knowledge, I am now able to drift with grace and style.

At first, after downloading a few of the videos (Ske's and BL's) I was very, very depressed at what I should look like while drifting.

All of a sudden though I got the hang of it and now am getting really good.
Its a pity I cant upload any video's of my own but I will keep on viewing all of yours.

So again, Thanks guys for bringing a whole new level of enjoyment to my game.

P.S. My friend is pissed off cause he cant drift and I keep flying past him sideways.

Nice, but there is always a small webcam to record videos. But keep up the good work:tup:

Way to go Pagan!!! I trust that you can drift well enough for a video now! 👍 I'm still lagging behind off even though i've been here longer than you! :guilty:

Well, as for posting a video, i have a similiar problem as you. I only have a camera phone to reocrd the videos, but all in mp4/3gp format. And their quality are to the lowest i guess!!! Been searching online for a cheap tv tuner card, hopefully a PCMCIA one.. But til now, still can't find one with a reasonable price to me. Therefore, if you happen to find a cheap one online, do let me know too!

But my reason for posting a video is different from yours. I want to post them as i need help on my drifts. LOL...

Cheers Pagan!

Yeah, the reason I cant post is because my PC stays here at work. Thats not really a bad thing cause my company have put in an ADSL line for me to use so I can DL whatever I like.

And actually my replays are getting good enough to make videos from, I'm down to only a few mistakes a lap now :)
I'm so chuffed with the progress I'm making now. Since I had to restart my game I've been trying to drift every race and am getting good at it.
Practice makes perfect I suppose.

I'm slightly envious of you Pagan. I didn't find this place until after I had established my drifting abilities :\. I would've loved to have a teacher, even if it was in the form of a manual :D. Good job though, it felt great when I finally got the hang of drifting in GT4 so I'm sure you're really excited; however, I have to leave with some advice: Drifting is not always the best way to learn to drift. Some people might argue, but I found when I was learning that going back to grip helped out a lot. Rather than, say, driving with sports tires or racing tires, I switched to the N series of tires and worked my way down trying to grip with them. It really helped teach me solid control over my pedal work, which became quite an advantage when drifting!

Hey Pal, I find your advice very useful. It sounds as a very logical and rare idea to improve one's footwork. Will be keen to see your drifts videos!

Cheers!
