The GTRS is born. Are you up for a challenge? Excitement? Action? Join the Grand Tour Racing Series as it starts its life. Next Sunday, the first race of the season occurs at Laguna Seca. A 15 lap shootout. Here is the ranking system:
1st: 10 points
2nd: 8 points
3rd: 6 points
4th: 4 points
5th: 2 points
6th: 2 points
7th: 2 points
8th: 2 points
9th: 1 point
10th: 1 point
11th -15th: 0 points *I'm not racing*
We'll have a practice session at Laguna Seca on Saturday, August 25th, and another one on Saturday, September 1st. The practice rooms will be called "GTRS Practice". *ALL DAY ROOM* This is a great way to know people, and to race with eventual friends.
Rules:
CLEAN ONLY!
No Red Bull X2011 or any Red Bull
Nothing over 1200hp
Penalties:
Accidental crash = steward's inquiry
Crash or wreck on purpose = 1 -3 race suspension (depending on severity)
Driving wrong way = DQ and 5 race suspension
Race setup:
Orderly qualifying (order you show up is the order you qualify) 2 laps to qualify
1 pace lap after the race has been started
For races under 30 laps: No cautions
Come on out for some great racing and intense action. Race well, see you there.
