Righteo, the season is soon to be coming to a close and so I think it's time to open up the nominations for thsi year's awards.

HAVE YOUR SAY!

Yep that's right, this time, instead of just tallying votes for about every overtaking move Hamilton has produced, we'll be taking the top 4 from each catergory and put them into a final vote! (Should be around December-ish)

So here's the catagories for this year:

Best Driver Of 2007 - Who's driven the socks off their car this season? Not just the fastest, but the complete package is required here.

Best Team Of 2007 - For the team that have put in the best effort throughout the season.

Best Race Of 2007 - Which race had it all? Overtaking, drama, accidents and truly great racing.

Best Overtaking Manoeuver - The one moment that caused you to fall off your seat in pure amazement of an overtaking god.

Best Start To A Race - This is to the driver who produced a faultless start off the line and capitalised into Turn 1.

Most Improved Driver - Who has upped their game this season to a new level?

Most Improved Team - And which team has really shook up the order of F1?

Best Single Race Performance - Sometimes a driver is on the ball for a race and outperforms themselves, this rewards just that.

Best Rookie Performance - We had a couple of new faces this season, but who was the best?

Most Promising New Driver - And of the rookies, who will you be keeping yoru eye on over the next few years?

Team To Watch in 2008 - Which team takes your fancy after this season's performance?

Biggest Dissapointment Of 2007 - What caused a downer in the Formula 1 paddock this season?

Hero Of 2007 - Out of all the chaos of Formula 1, who has stood up to it all the finest, this can be anyone connected with the sport.

Villian Of 2007 - And the opposite, who has been a real tool this season?

Each of you may have 2 Nominations per a catergory but may use only 1 if needed. Please PM me your nominations by the 31st of October at 10pm GMT. If you feel you need to change your nominations, please PM again with your old entries and the replacements so I can modify the tables accordingly.

w00t got mine in first. Very predictable mine though. lol
 
I think i'll wait until after the final championship deciding round until i submit my entries. At least half the catagories posted could through up some clear winners after this final race.

Throwing my nominations your way...shan't think much will prompt me to change my nominations so I'll not wait until after Brazil. Surprising ones by me...though my Villains aren't lol

Another good category would be "Biggest/Worst Blunder of 2007"
 
Nominations send, but i'm not sure how to nominate.... Oh well, it nice to give an open opinion..... :sly:

But the category seems limited. What about having "the best track marshal this season" and "worst overtaking maneuver"?
 
Nominations are in :p Must say it was an exiting and interesting season. One of the best out of the seasons I remember.
