When I was racing in the Audi TT race series, which was my last beginner race to finish before I get all golds, the AIs keep ramming my rear and then I spin out!!!!!! Doode, the AIs always did that to me, no matter what race I was in. The only way I could win was when the AI takes a longer route through the corner and then I take the inside and beat him.

Does anyone else have this problem?

Well, I wanted to say some more:

In most of my races, I either beat the AI by superior power or just plain dirt. It's hard to win fairly because the AIs keep ramming into me. If I use my skill, then the AI will keep on ramming me into the wall and tapping my bumper and pick on me. To me, racers aren't supposed to do that.

Here's the tough question: should I beat the other cars by sheer power or by skill?

I understand your frustration. It seems like the choices are either win by a mile or get pushed around and lose. I noticed this a lot in the Vitz series, the TT series, and other races where the competition is pretty even. They almost always brake late, and I try to brake early. They would hit the back of my car, I would run into the wall, and they would pass me on the inside since hitting me kept them from hitting the wall. The only advice I can give is don't let them frustrate you to the point where you make even more mistakes trying to compensate for their stupidity. Race your line, no matter what line they use. Watch the track, not the car in front (or behind) you. The AI is dumb...and there is not much you can do but race your own race.

I don't find nothing dumb about the computer opponent (AI) getting more harder to beat as you progress through the game. :odd:

The AI is dumb because it's not actually ramming you, it's just following a line and you happen to be on it. It's more likely to late-brake and plow into the wall on exit. And ZZII's right, you should stick to your own lines and brake points, don't try to compensate for bad AI.
