I think the biggest question I've had after doing research on these types of materials is this:

What is the optimum fastner?

I've noticed a lot of different options in regards to what's been made available from the different distributors but it's still not clear to me which bit folks favor to slide their nut into to lock the pieces together. I've seen flat and "fitted" options and I'm wondering what's best.

My second question is in regards to the size of the profiles:

Is anything larger than a 15 x 15 really necessary? I've noticed a lot of rigs using 15 x 30 or more and some comments mentioned that it was overkill. It seems to make sense for the uprights that the wheel platform mounts to, but overkill in every other situation.
