If you like the z act like myself (or if u r lucky enough to own one like myself, my dad has had the us version called the n600 coupe w/600cc 2 cyl. and a 4-speed manual for 27 years) here is the place u can use to talk about them. remember that this is the first car honda brought to the U.S.!

AND NOW WE CAN TALK ABOUT THE NISSAN Z! i like it too

If you're talking about 300zx like mine, Then HELL YEAH. I drive/drift an '86 300zx non-turbo with intake, exhaust, LSD, and timing gears in real life. And in the game the '83 300zx turbo is my fav. drift car.

I don't think he is. 600cc 2-cyl 300ZX would pretty pathetic.......... he means what he said, the Z Act (a Honda not a Nissan) or am I missing something obvious?

Anyway, the Act seems to me to be a strange car to love, but each to their own.

well, yes it may be strange, but to finally have a game that has the z act/ n600, it's just awsome. and yes i'm talkin about the z act

and everyone knows my true passion is vipers :dopey:

Oh, ok. Everyone calls 300zx "Z" cars so I wasn't sure. And I was confused by 600cc 2-cylinder. That would not move such a heavy car.

Fairplay to you then - though I like the Idea of some poser out there driving a 300ZX with a Z Act engine.........
"wel like, da engine come off me mam's Honda innit, but it's proper mint!!!11!!11..."
:D
Sweet.

Edit: D'oh, language filter!

You realize this is a racist term?

"poser" is just as easy to type and it means the same thing.

I did not. I therefore retract it. instantly.

Japanese started optical tuning to an extreme, Asians eat rice... hence ricer. I don't really care about it, but you could piss Asians who post here off by saying that. You're not the only one using the word here, so don't feel too guilty. :)

just kiddin no harm done! :)

elctrk!
i thought this thread was about the nissan z :indiff:

Two for Two Viperdude, not looking so good for HONDA Z fans. I quite like it, if that's any consolation. I like Japanese people too (I doubt anyone in Japan is daft enough to do what I suggested anyway! Leave it to us Brits for the ultimate stupidty in car modding.)

Yeah well.....I'll get there in the end. And I think the 350Z is a really ugly car (feel free to flame me Nissan fans)

but in the city the z act is much more fun. we have a custom exhaust system with glasspacks, and oversized pistons. it sounds sooo cool, like a mad harley! and u can floor it from stoplight to stoplight or screem around a corner and never speed! in a nissan z, you would be at 80+ mph while you'd be at around 40 in the z act. you'd know mr. patrol officer pretty well. :)

but on the race track........... :ouch:

You're right, I do know "mr. patrol officer" VERRRRY well. To well! How does 4 tickets a year sound? Cause in the past year me and my z have accumulated 4 speeding tickets, each one for 20mph or more over the limit (one was for going 115mph in a 55mph zone) I've gotten out of 3 others all were for "exibishion driving" that's what they call drifting on the streets around here.

And I autocross it and it does fairly well, I've won my class a couple of times.

Not Wise To Drive Too Fast to Get Tickets... huh, just stay at home playing GT, and no one's get hurt...

we own a '91 nissan 300zx twin turbo TT
its a really really nice car. just rebuilt the engine and put on some larger turbos and the new nismo injectors!!! beefy.

on the need to buy list we have alot of things, but the first to be bought will be
a better boost gauge/control and new intercoolers. seeing that we wont have a huge turbo were getting the two side intercoolers seeing that it will perform much better than one big one (unless we get larger turbos :( )

going to buy some tires within a week or two and on the 30th of this month (july) we are taking it to autocross event in wisconsin.

this will be the first even this car has been to, and we are hoping to beat some of the fastest cars their (IE corvets etc).

looks bad ass man! i dont like the body kit at all tho, but thats just me, i dont like body kits... well what i mean is, the body kit looks nice but i just dont like body kits.

i think i need to get that front panel bettween the lights, for added air intake.. is it worth it? i have just a single k&n filter (thinking about the dual).

The intake is worth it. I mean it doesn't make much of a difference. It's more for looks. It is defintly not stock.Pm me I'll tell you everything it has under the hood.

What does this have to do with GT4?

I don't get it.

Shouldn't it belong in Cars in General..

If we are talking in real life, then yes.

Put a turbo on the GT4 Honda Z Act, select bonnet view.

The turbo boost gauge sits in the bonnet mirror perfectly!

Hmm.. I thought this is a "Honda Z Act vs. the 350Z at the Nurb" topic.. Oh well.

Based on that first post, I have to ask why this is in the Gt4 section?

Cars in General, dude.

The Nissan "Z" isn't the 300 ZX. It is the Nissan 350 Z. The 300 ZX is a '86 car, with twin turbo engine, 280 hp and very, very bad chassis rigidity.

The 300 ZX didn't get 280 HP until '89, and it then had 300 HP. The Nissan 300 ZX is still a Z-car because in Japan it is known as the Fairlady Z, as is the newer 350 Z and all former Z models (280 ZX, 260 Z, 240 Z).
