When running the 24 Hours of Le Mans, what can I do to go quick in the rain. I'm not at all a very good driver in the wet at all. For some reason I'm actually quicker on the intermediate tire compounds then the wet one, even in 100% rain. Is this normal? Even on those intermediates I'm still not too quick and seem to not have much control. What can I do to make sure I don't give away the race, that should already be close, in the wet? Tips please and thank you for taking the time to assist me :)

I think that Racing Soft's are even quicker in A-Spec>

Really? How steady is it under breaking and exiting corners?

EDIT: And how quick do the tires ware off, because I know on the dry weather they are gone in 3-4 laps

The 908 can last 10 laps(having to pit for fuel) on Racing Softs, and I was doing consistent 3:40's.

What? When did that happen? My 908 is all stock, if you did that since the update that changed tire ware then you would have had to change the setup. What did ya do to the setup?

Might have been Praiano's tune, did it post tire wear change. Mine was using a stage 3 turbo, and I was pulling laps in the mid 3:40's I believe.

The easy answer to running quick in the rain is to focus on being smooth. From the input of your hands twisting the wheel, to how you work the pedals with your feet, everything has to be fluid and free from sharp movements.

Tuning is the harder answer, since people don't all tend to drive the same, and have the same feel for a car. As with most things in life, practicing will improve your abilities in both of these areas, so good luck in your quest!
