I think at the start of each race, Nitro should post people that have confirmed their entry, kind of like how it's done with the JGTC races, so drivers know that they're expected to participate.

This has turned out to be a very interesting series. Will this be ran again anytime soon? I've started again, after a file corruption, and I'd love to run in this series if there is a next time.
Just hope I have a TV. The TV I am currently using isn't actully mine and its being taken away from me for a little while. :(
 
to answer your question Radicool, yes there will be another series. About a month after this series has finished, entries for season 2 will be accepted. Hope to see you next season.
 
I wont be able to compete in Round 4 I think since I am moving on the 16th.

so, at the mo, we have 9 confirmed drivers. everyone looking forward to next week, when we "visit china"? ;)
 
Since we are not racing this week, we should use the time off to discuss the season.

I think that when people miss differant events, there should be penalities. I know Nitro plans on implementing penalities, but you should explain what they will be. There should be a time penality added if qualifying is missed, and there should be a points penalty or a weight penalty if a race is missed.

I would also like to discuss the future of this series. I really dislike the fact that some races need racing tires while others need sports tires. Pick one or the other. That would make tuning easier for all of us. And if that doesn't work, we could make it so that when qualifying, you have to qualify on the same tires as you race. If the race needs sports tires, you have to race with sports tires, and if the race needs racing tires, you have to qualify on racing tires. Also, I think we should have one more eudurance event on the schedule. That would be fun. :)

Also, I plan on switching to a Holden after the break. I haven't talked to my teammate Jason (jase86) in a while, so I don't know what he thinks of the idea.

I was prompted to post this because the V8's have returned to Speed TV, and I was watching them earlier. Wow, talk about awesome!
 
Penalties:
I'm all for this. They should be designed to add some real incentive to participating in all events.

Qualifying:
I think the current format is best. Let the race limit the tires but allow any tires for qual.

Teams:
From what I can tell, there isn't really any difference to racing in teams or not. Everyone still submits their own two laps. It would make more sense if, when racing in teams, each person only sent one lap so that total time would be the combination of the best laps of the two people.
