the best car to use for the historic cup?

i need to buy a car for the historic cup but i havent got lots of money. I can spend a maximum of 500,000

the cars i have got which can be used is a lamborghini coutach but its no way near as fast as the other cars

i have a jaguar xj13 chrome line but i cant use that for some odd reason?
