If you go to the series and select the "I" button, then press X again, you are given a list of eligible cars for the series.

On the list are the R32 Skyline and both 300ZXs (1998 models, but designed and first released in 1989). Can't say fairer than that then.

The skyline is probably the fastest, but I did it with the AE86. Probably mostly your choice, you can beat it with a few different cars without too much trouble.

That 300Z is a monster when fully tuned. If you can't win it with that, you might as well give up. It's also fun to drive too. It's the best car to use in this race, if you can't race that well.

HOLD UP DUDE, with ur audi TT, go buy the VCD in "others" in the tune shop and set the power to 10% at the front, other wise ull hate the audi TT

I have it too, I bought it in the beginning of the game!

When i was 3 i was playing with a dinkytoy like that car, I don't have it anymore...
