I searched "GT5 Fail" and found no threads similar to this (I think)...I have a feeling I missed one and this thread gets locked. =P

I was racing in an online lobby at Trial Mountain, with me in 2nd, racing tightly with the guy in first (who's the host), with 3rd place a few seconds behind and slightly falling. We were battling it out on the final stretch on the chicane. I tried outbraking him, it worked at first, but then I took the final turn too tight, and hit the banking on the right of the chicane, getting me airborne a little, smashing into the right bumper of the 1st place guy, and we both lose.

I got kicked.

I was on nurburgring on the Sharp dip corner with the tight chicane, and I made contact with an Audi LMS race car, with my Minolta Toyota going full speed, we spun out and ate crap into the wall, then rolled around on the ground for a while.
 
Turning off the system before autosaving after an endurance race.
 
Running a close race on Nurburgring in 2nd... and then spinning out on the corner just before the long straight... D'oh. PS, I was in my speed 12 when this happened, I gave it too much gas.
 
Back when gt5 first came out i religiously played it.... well after awhile i beat everything, like i mean everthing even the 24hr races. So im playing online & a kid in the room was ranting about the glitch to where u can steal a friends car from there share list.. well i tryed it one night & it worked i stole a Ford GT. i tryed it again the next night & it worked just like it did before. So when i go to play the next day my gt5 file is completely reset... aparently my system file was corrupted and the crappy part was my back up on my flash drive was too ...... oh well sometimes we have to learn the hard way i guess :guilty:

Whoops! :lol: Anyway, sold my HPA Stage II before finding out it's a once-only deal and had to get another through trade. :dunce:

I did the same thing... sold it because the turbo lag was horrible.
 
Just now actually. After putting in about 30 hours of hotlapping in the last WRS event and finishing 1st in the handicapped rankings, all to learn that I'm DQ'ed because I don't have a computer to upload my replay as proof of my lap time. Talk about alot of wasted time and effort.

Been shunted by someone who was dead last and decided to drive backwards.. could have seen it coming had I turned on my mini map.

If you get more than half a second's warning that a backwards guy is coming on your minimap... your minimap is zoomed out too far to be useful for anything but dodging accidents and backwards guys. :)

Still, that half second might save your race if you're lucky.
 
Racing online on the Nurburgring 24 hour layout, epic battle with one guy going side by side constantly until the final corner heading up to the Nurb GP section onto the finish line where I for some reason thought I was on the Nordschleife and tried to make a sharp right turn making me hit him rather violently....

I immediately apologized as he understandably thought I was ramming him off the track intentionally and when I explained my side of the story he thankfully was amused and accepted my apology.
Not one of my better days.
