The Boston Marathon

It was a real nice day for the race today. Sunny weather but not too hot with a slight breeze.

I saw some interesting runners too.

-The Easter Bunny
-A Viking
-A guy with a huge afro
-Around the end some guy was juggling.

I didn't see Spiderman this year though. I didn't see him last year either. I know he was in the 2012 marathon, I saw him around the end of the runners in that race. I can't imagine how he runs in the costume, I'm not sure if he even finishes. It must feel like a desert running in that suit.
 
I watched some of it on TV. I heard today was the second largest amount of runners ever.

For Boston, other marathons routinely have more runners than Boston.

Pretty amazing race run by Meb. He is 38, ran his plan, and had to be in shock seeing the 'favorites' falling further and further behind. Very gutsy final two miles to give him the win.
