A great movie from my childhood. I just watched it again last night, and I almost feel like crying. If you've never seen the movie, go out and buy a copy; it's certainly worth it. If you have, watch it again sometime, it will bring back great memories. Watch this song, "Worthless", and tell me it doesn't make you just a little emotional:

If you have seen the movie, watch the whole thing as soon as you can and you'll be shocked at how much you can remember.
 
Great movie, and it's also one of my dad's favorites. Worthless is my favorite song in the movie, and I love Jon Lovitz as the radio.
 
I've seen this movie so many times that I continue to quote it constantly while my friends scratch their heads.

God, what a great movie. I never saw any of the sequels, but I've seen the first at least 20-30 times. I'm kinda wanting to pull it out again... Gosh!
 
Good Brad, b/c the sequels were terrible, imo. This is a very good classic movie that just passes by today's generation, sadly.

The magnet is pure evil. Not only does it not have a conscience, no remorse, and no sympathy, it is also indiscriminate and has no understanding of value. It murdered a Corvette Stingray and a vintage Indy racer for crying out load. Fix those suckers up and sell them to a museum, then you no longer have to work in a stupid junkyard, you stupid magnet.

Awesome film. Been watching it since I was 4 years old, so I think this is where I got my love for technology and cars from. Phil Hartman was awesome as the bitter AC unit. It's a bit dark, but that's what makes it interesting, unlike these cheerful crap kids movies we have today.
 
I watched this years ago. Only it was dubbed in Dutch and was called 'Het dappere broodroostertje' :D
