The car which never shows up in my 70ticket

All these while been wanting the elusive 2J. Got myself a 70 ticket through my 2nd account.since then been reload copy about 40 to 50 times but it just stubbornly refused to show up! How many times have you all tried before getting one??
 
To get this car, you first need to pray to the gods of GT, sacrificing a real world car. Once this is complete, you will receive a letter stating if this has been completed successfully and will then tell you to delete your game save and all copies of it. This being done, the next time you start up the game, GT will provide a save data with exactly what you have achieved, with a birthday ticket for 1970, and the first time you cash it, it will provide the car you want, in your case a 2J.



In all seriousness, its pure luck when it appears, keep doing it and you'll eventually get it.
 
We have three accounts in our house and all have gotten the 2J, but as mentioned previously the Gods of GT have to shine on you. We tried selecting "yes" we want to use the ticket and then going outside where you are closer to which ever god it is and coming in after at least a 5 minute wait.
But that usually just added five minutes to recycling it. But it does work. The other option is to wait for it in the UCD but you do not always have over 19million just lying around.

I was born 3 years after the 2J and i'm not one to glitch, so having seen it very early on when I really couldn't afford it, I waited, and waited, and waited some more for this car, always making sure I had 15 million in my pocket.

It did turn up eventually and is awesome fun (just watch it levitate/turn into a hovercraft on the straight at Trial Mountain!)

If the ticket doesn't work, keep checking your UCD making sure you never miss a refresh (I often grind the Dream Car Championship as it is the perfect 5 races long, with a championship bonus)

If you think you "need" it for the Historic event, well the Toyota 7 can win that relatively easily and is a prize car (or various other cars depending on ability!)

Just keep re-loading.

Took me around 2 hours of constant re-starts to get the R390 Road car off a level 12 ticket... then the 2D turned up 1st try on a 67 ticket.

It will come eventually!

I've passed the historic car race.just that I want this car because it's one of a kind,awkwardly beautiful.

I feel your pain fellow '72er.

Have a complete backup copy of your data away from your PS3 for when you mess up the process and delete the 24 ticket you traded for. Oh, wait, that was me that deleted it. If only I read this advice.
 
you know the time it took you to use tickets and reload you probably could have earned the money and bought it in the ucd

Not really.load & reload takes say about 2.5 hours to 3?? Unable to grind 12-14 mills with this time..
