The Cars You Plan On Buying

Right now I have a daily driver (1998 Audi A4) and a sports car (2002 C5 Z06). I'm 26 and single, so once marriage comes into the picture I can probably kiss some of these babies goodbye. I've decided I'm keeping the Corvette forever. I've had it for 4 years, and I'm only now starting to add power mods too it. Eventually I hope to make it a track-only car.

The Corvette will be paid off this year, so I will be in the market for my next car sometime in the fall.

Next on my list is a 1998-2002 Dodge Viper. You can get these with <30k miles for less than $40k nowadays. I've always wanted one since I was 5, had so many Viper RC Cars when I was younger.

The Audi will eventually die out, so recently I am thinking about replacing that with the Fiat 500 Abarth. I'm probably going to get alot of heat for this, but the little thing is growing on me. It would be a perfect daily driver. Sporty, fun to drive, easy to park.

So by now it is most likely 2014. The Viper I will be holding on to for several years as a collector car, I have the Z06 as my track car, and the Abarth as my DD. Really the only other thing I want (within reason) before I'm 30 is an Ariel Atom. I would buy one tomorrow if I could, unfortunately they are $60k right now. 5 more years of promotions and raises and it might be possible.

After that who knows. Newest M5? GT3RS? Depends on the house I'm in and my relationship status.

If the brz comes as a Sti variant I will be interested but until then I plan to keep my current Sti for a very long time (atleast I hope).

I want to start with an oldtimer BMW E30 316 or 318 ( should cost like € 1000 ) , keep driving it forever, put a big M5 engine or a Toyota 1JZ engine in it, change the body kit and rims and make it get around 400/500 HP

Will leave 316 or 318 on the rear to let people laugh untill they see me take off :P.

My 2nd car should be Import (Japanese) AWD or RWD.

Sorry Americans, here in Holland, it's kinda impossible to have a 10 000 cc engine, petrol is just too expensive :D.

This or a BRZ, likely within the next year. :)

Jumping on the bandwagon...

A couple of other cars might join that too if i've got the money. ;)

I currently have a 1986 MR2, and I do not plan on selling that car. So no matter what, I will always have my MR2.

Eventually, I want an 8th gen Civic SI Coupe FG2. After owning that for a year or two, I would trade it for a GT86/FR-S. I'll have that for a few years, then I'll buy a Nissan 240SX S14, and use the leftover money for tuning it. That will be my daily driver and track weapon for a while, then buy a Mazda RX-7 FD3S. Then after five or so years, I'll buy a 1998 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4, and hopefully an R32 Skyline GT-R since they will be legal by then. The remainder of my life will be spent with my MR2, VR4, and GT-R.

No order here. I plan to keep my Accord forever, but keep changing things up for a second car so I can experience different styles. Hopefully I'll be fortunate enough to do all this in my lifetime:

- 03-04 Mustang Cobra (do wheels and an exhaust and just enjoy the power for a while)
- 240Z (restoration project)
- 1st-gen MX-5 (no mods, very temporary ownership just to experience one)
- SW20 MR2 (see MX-5)
- CRX or EF/EG Civic hatch (F22A[Accord single-cam]-swap all-motor project)
- Un-assembled Caterham kit car?
- FD RX-7

Isn't the BRZ not going to be sold in the States and we're just getting the Scion?

Audi S8- Dad mobile
1950s T Bird- Almost bought one last year
1980s Audi UR Quattro- Always wanted one
Next Gen. Audi RS6- Next purchase when available

That's all for now.

Only thing I planned when I was younger was to have a V8 before 25, so, 6 months left :D and somewhen, a real mini which I do have but it's not on the road yet :(

Currently I have a 2004 Honda Civic Sport as my first car.

For my next car, which I will get a year or two after I graduate is a Seat Leon Cupra, or perhaps a 3.2L V6 Audi A3. Just an awesome hot hatch will do.
For my 3rd car I want a big powerful saloon, maybe a modified Nissan Stagea (I love these cars) Or if i have enough money an M5.

Other cars I would realistically love to own:
Mitsubishi Evo (I don't care which one, they are all awesome)
Celica GT-Four
Nissan Pulsar GTIR

Basically I want cars that look great, pull well, and not too expensive. You can pick up really nice examples of all the cars I have mentioned above for less than £6000 if you look around

I want to own an original Mini. Someday. That, and I guess an Alfa of some sort. Beyond that, who knows.

There are only 2 cars that I would desperately like to own at some point in my life. An E28 M5 (that said, I'd settle for a much cheaper M535i), and a Jaguar E-Type Series 1 Convertible. The former is expensive the latter is (or will be by the time I'd be able to afford one-if ever!) massively expensive.

For my first car I hope to get an old BMW (E28 if I can afford to insure one) or my grandad's ancient diesel fiesta if I can't convince my mum to let me get a BMW.

After a few years I'll sell whatever I've got and get an E28 (unless I already have one)

Then hopefully I get married in my mid/late 20's and have a child/children, get something more suitable, be forced to sell precious E28.

Then when I'm older and hopefully rich I'll get a project car/weekend car that could be an old M car.

1969 Ford Boss 429 Mustang is my absolute dream car. Someday I'd like to own one model of every Mustang ever built but that won't happen. I'd like another mid 1980s Ford truck as well.

E28

If you get a tidy E28, don't ever sell it, I still regret letting my first E28 go (528i with the bodykit off the M535i), but at the time I'd just rescued a 635 from a barn so I needed the space and money...

And at some point in my life, I will own a

Within the next 5-10 years, I'd like something along the lines of a Mazda Miata, Nissan 370Z, or a newer Pontiac GTO, but only if my financial situation allows me to. Before I'm 30 I want a Corvette of some sort, preferably a Z06. I'm hoping in the next year or two I can purchase a neighbour's 1985 Toyota Supra, asking $3500 for it, so it's reasonable and definitely obtainable on a student budget.

As soon as the Mountaineer and or RX-8 is paid off in 2 years either of these...
