I may be over picky here but Im still noticing that you can still use the H-shifter without hitting the clutch. I put both off and on with the automatic clutch setting and same results...Is this normal?....maybe it' s set to exact way the car is....havent tried every car but any car with the H-shifter I use, I can switch gears with the H-shifter without touching the clutch...I hate it....May I missing something here?..please help without any advice...I just love having a friend over or playing by myself to play AC and they blow the engine...Makes it feel realistic...

It was the same in P CARS 1, & seems to have carried over unfortunately. Definitely needs improving.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't doing it in pcars 1, as I've many times got my timing slightly wrong with clutch and shifter and it just stayed in the same gear until I dipped the clutch pedal again ..... still not the authentic grinding noise you get in RL but it let you know you'd messed up.
but I agree that it needs fixing in pcars 2, it's my only real niggle with the game.

I'm 100% sure it does, as I was driving the Ginetta Junior a just about a week ago & could change gear without using the clutch at all, even when the revs wern't matched.

The Ginetta junior does not use an H pattern box, it uses sequential gearing ! You only have to do a slight lift off the throttle to change gear.
Try again with the Caterham or something else with the H pattern.
