The Cobras are all wrong!!

i resently went 2 a car show where there a couple of replica Shelby Cobras and there was 1 real 1. The owner started it up and reved it a little and believe me u no its there u can feel it beating through the vibrations through the floor and the ear spliting noise,and in GT3 its not even 1/10 as loud u can hardly hear it. i hope this is fixed in GT4 and have the addition of a GT500
p.s any more news on GT4
like a release date
or cars that are definately going to b in it
 
Well, compare the sound-producing abilities of a 7 litre engine at 3 feet to a pair of 0.5 watt TV speakers.

The just-above tickover noise through my stereo is quite satisfying, and distinctive. But there's not much hope of matching the live sound... Compare it to a live band and a CD...

I've only recently manged to get a decent scart lead with phono ouputs and I have to agree with you on that. Also this may sound a little dumb, but with the sound coming out of my hifi speakers, the wind noise is much more noticeable, where it used to be only heard on the test track. This game always likes to pop up with little suprises like that.
 
Can I ask one quick question BMW740i.
How did you know it was a real Cobra?
 
if you read in the beggining of the game it says these cars may not match cars in real life as far as looks, performance, etc.

Uh duh, turn up your sound and get some surround sound...:| But yeah, most of the engines have duplicated noises, which is quite annoying.
