Let's bring some life back to this board, so I made...

THE COMPLEX STRING LAP TIME BOARD

THE RULES

2. You have 3 laps to run your best time
3. Post the car you used, your best time out of your 3 laps, your username and whether or not you tuned the car in a reply below
4. If needed, briefly describe how you tuned the car in your reply (I.e. Stage 1 Turbo, Triple plate clutch, Weight Reductions)
5. Your time will be added to the board below.

Good idea. I might boot up the old PS2 sometime this week and play some GT3 career so I can afford more cars, then I'll try this.

Just tried it today in slightly tuned XJ220. It didn't understeer as badly as I remembered, but I ran on default suspension setup so it could be way better I guess.

Jaguar XJ220 Road Car, 4:35.273, Mr ZX, Tuned (Fully customised suspension, sports brakes, full-racing transmission, sports tyres)

Wicked, evil, diabolical track!

Turned on my ps2 for a bit, and pulled out my old R33 skyline,
My god that thing is quick.
I managed a 4.09.362 _Integra_, fully upgraded, race brakes, lightened, sorts tires, a sleepy diver;)

Never had the chance to play much GT3. My 1st GT game was GT2 and then I bought GT3 for $10.00 I think. Then at the time my nephew had just bought GT4 and it didn't work in his PS2. This was back in 04/05 ish. So we traded and I jumped in GT4 for the next number of years and head a blast with it and all here at GTPlanet until my son bought an Xbox 360. It can bundled with FM3 so I migrated over to that. And continued with FM4 when I got it for a Christmas present. I'm a Mr. Cheapie so I haven't gone over to either of the new systems and have been playing a lot of PGR4 which I picked up for $2.00. Tracks, tracks and more tracks. I usually had problems jumping back to the GT series because of the physics being away from it for so long. But after mastering the PGR4 physics which are very GT3/4 ish I decided to throw this game in an run a few. I'm sure these aren't records but I ran a few cars. All are pretty much stock that the game gives you.

Gillet Vertigo RC – 4:43.269
Tickford Falcon V8 – 4:47.555
Diablo JCTC – 4:39.884

Sample 001 001 - 4'40.381 no tuning
the transmission was from another f1 as the stock sample 001 tranny is broken. also the body and downforce was swapped from the rx-7 to an f1 car (i dont have codes for the actual body, but this was close enough)

i actually did 4 laps because the 3rd was the only good one but half way though i got distracted and stacked it.

I'm confused. How do you swap stuff?

hybriding (hacking). i only did it to repair the damage due to it being unfinished.
