What should we do for the next drift Competition?

  • Have the competition on a specific course

    Votes: 8 50.0%
  • Have the competition depending on the car's drivetrain

    Votes: 2 12.5%
  • Have them both!

    Votes: 3 18.8%
  • Just keep the same thing as the one we have now!

I would like to have some input about this. Since the competition is going to start on June 9th, how do you as participants want to compete? On a course or depending on drivetrain or both? It would be nice to have some input so that this competition can become a success. Thank you in advance :)

My opinion is that we/you/all (whoever or in a poll), decide a track with some corners to drift.
Just to make easier to the judges see the best drift in each drivetrain.

Well I want to agree... but some of my drifts are sooo prettttyyy. Ah heck, I'll just make a music video or something out of em. Bring on the rules!!

Any other suggestions?

[hint: bumping this up :D]

The ones so far may lead to a competition on a specific course with drivetrain ladders. Sounds good. I'll start another poll about the courses then :) See what you guys want first.

i think you guys should also think about hp... like on a specific course ( even tho i voted for keeping same) and then drivetrains and in each drivetrain have maybe two categories... below 300 and above 300 ( and maybe above 1000 for those strange people) other than that wether on sims or slicks it shouldnt matter... there should be racing an exhibition drifting classes still too... i think the hp classes would even out the time in corners and such and also show smoke coming from slip angle and not tire spin...

ss11 for racing lol or if e wanna go easy... something like apricot hill where i think there are 1,2,3,4,5 sets of driftable turns and accept entries on each of these turns ( like corner one and two combined, the s turns, the hairpin, and that one last corner before the chicane)

apricot hill is good for both types of drifting too

I mean..it should be a specific course..then have the judges vote on the course..Because that's how REAL drift competitions take place..They don't take 1 car per track that the DRIVERS like..then it's not a competition..it needs to be something each paticipant has to learn or atleast adhear to

I always drift against the AI, I suck so badly at gripping I'm usually faster if I just drift everything. (as long as I'm using my ZZII)

Why don't you have different stages in the competition...Like have a bracket of sort...And then The first round can be in SSR5....Then the semi finals could be at Midfeild or whatever..Then the finals could be at.........COMPLEX STRING!!!!

yeah that is a good idea... it seems to me that ssr5 and midfeild take about the same level of skill... midfeild being a bit harder... apricot would give a good intermediate... complex string is hella hard lol and hella long...maybe between apricot and complex do a trail mountain 2 or a ss11 1 or 2

even tho you can see the smoke that well at night... or at least i think that is what i going on... ss11 is still great for consecutive drifts

I say....We use Test course...The first one to succesfully complete a drift through the entire corner wins.......I'll enter with my escudo..XD

The first one was excellent, doing that in an FD sure shows some skills. But intimidation doesnt work against me and my ZZII ;)

That was lame...That was like 6 drifts into one..Lol...Watch his back end and it begins to whip back aruond 4 times....Lol..It was the longest imaginary drift ever maybe
