There's also the credits required to upgrade each car, of course, which can massively exceed the cost of the car for lower priced cars. 400 cars at 300k per car is another 120m credits.

I have a question.
Do cars in the UCD repeat themselves in the same "cycle" or each car only shows up once, then after a few days leaves the UCD and only after all cars show up there will it return?
I ask this because I'm postponing my progress on the Cafe menu because I want to keep untouched the pre-2000 0 miles cars and I need to upgrade a Mini Cooper-S '65 to advance further and I believe that the car already passed through the UCD...

I've also realised there's another huge cost, which is the need to have duplicates of cars, because many of the upgrades are permanent, so if you want to try different builds, e.g. one with no weight reduction, one with only stage 1, one with stage 1 and 2, another with stage 1, 2 and 3, you need 4 copies of a car to do that, and 4 copies of all the other upgrades such as tyres etc.

You can buy a "new engine" and "new chassis" that resets all the uprades to your car, plus this is mostly for the road cars as you can only fit turbos or superchargers in racing cars and those can be removed/added anytime you want.
Plus... We know GT7 is probably the most exagerated grind in gaming (top 50 for sure), but let's not overexagerate things even more.
With that said, I do plan on having about 15-20 road cars fully tuned and their duplicates stock.

I've been trying to make improvements and I've added a column for a picture of the car to help verify that you own it (not sure if that's helpful but maybe?). It's a WIP as I'm "grinding" for credits and buying the cars as I go, then grabbing a screenshot of the car(s), cropping them (had to photoshop the invitation ones - who knows if we'll ever buy them all, eh?) and inserting them into the sheet. I 'think' all the car specs are accurate (for the ones we can see), the last item on the to do list for it is to verify the Model names as they've differed slightly from time to time.
I know KP has their site and that is all well and good, but it's always been clunky imo, but it is too bad about driver specs being behind a login-wall.

Another strikeout for previously-unseen used cars, though the 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is now in the rotation at a high-mileage discount to its previous menu-book-specific appearance. Upping the mileage from the menu-book 8,694 miles to 61,428 miles knocked the price down from 44,200 Cr. to 36,100 Cr.
It's getting to be like the roulette wheel, though at least this time all 3 of the newly sold-out cars are pre-2001 models, so maybe we'll finally get a used car we haven't seen before. Odds are that if we get something other than the low-money payou...er...previously-reported pre-2001 cars or cars that can be bought new, it would be the 1997 Nissan R33 GT-R V-spec, which is a menu-book special at 158,700 Cr. Meanwhile, we won't get a new legend car tomorrow as nothing sold out.

I don't know about the other prices, they seem kind of in line with I am expecting based on real life auctions and estimates. Aside from the 330 P4, that one will definitely cost more than 10 million, maybe even 15 million.
The Jaguar D-Type will not cost a measly 1.5 million. There was one which was sold on auction for over 20 million a few years ago.
The F1 Le Mans winner will probably cost a pretty huge penny and the longtail version IRL has estimates of 15 million as well.
We are going to be incredibly lucky if the overall price of cars is below 450 million. And before DLC cars are added...
For comparison, GT5 which has over twice the amount of cars, had it's total credit count at ~368 million.
Ah, that was a typo/not enough zeros. I meant it to be 12 Million. IIRC I came to that with the auction prices. As you say one went for over 20M but others have gone for a lot less.

I've worked out the value of what can be won through the menu book, licenses and missions (as of version 1.09)...pending the value of 5 cars that aren't part of the menu-book portion of the UCD and have yet to appear in the UCD or Hagerty's (the 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 and the 1986 Peugeot 205 Turbo 16 Evolution 2, which can be won, the 1996 Nissan 180 SX Type X and the 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T, which merely have a 1-in-3 chance of being won, and the 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28, which can be won once and has a 1-in-3 chance of being won twice). I used new-car pricing for cars available in Brand Central, and UCD/Hagerty's pricing (as of 4/4/2022) for the rest:
- In addition to the first used car you must buy (which, unless you have still have credits from the one-use-only 25th Anniversary, Digital Deluxe or Launch Edition codes, or stupidly buy MTX credits, must be one of the first 3 cars you can win) and the Ford F-150 Raptor (which either you need to buy for 55,000 Cr. or you need to burn 62,000 Cr. to buy the Toyota Tundra TRD so you can win the Ford), you're guaranteed 59 different cars in non-championship races, including the 2 you get for getting the National B Bronze and National A Bronze licenses required for the championships.
3 of those cars are currently unpriced - the Mustang Boss 429, the Peugeot 205 and the Camaro Z28. Some of those you can win twice if you do the associated unmarked menu book race after getting them through an earlier championship (or buying the starter car or F-150, or getting your National B bronze license).
Assuming you don't try to win any repeats, bought one of the all-but-forced starter cars, and bought the F-150 instead of the Tundra to win the F-150, those 58 priced cars of the 61 you're guaranteed to have are worth 8,441,488 Cr. to your garage.
- In addition, in 3 championships (menu books 17, 33 and 39), you're guaranteed a car that can only be won through those championships. Depending on your luck with the cards, and not counting the value of the unpriced Nissan 180 SX, they're worth between 623,800 Cr. and 2,652,900 Cr. That brings the running total to between 9,065,288 Cr. and 10,741,488 Cr. for 60-61 priced cars and 64 total cars, and for most of us who blitzed through the menu book, essentially the end.
- If you get lucky in the 3 championships where the roulette wheel has both cars that can be won later and cars that cannot, and get the 2014 BMW M4 (worth 120,000 Cr., instead of the repeatable 1989 BMW M3 Sport Evolution or 2003 BMW M3) from the book 21 championship, the 1963 Chevrolet Corvette (C2) (worth 178,000 Cr.) or 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T (as yet unpriced, but I doubt it will be over 178,000 Cr. or less than the 41,000 Cr. the repeatable 2018 Ford Focus RS that is the third door) from the book 25 championship, and/or the 2006 Ferrari F430 (worth 243,200 Cr., instead of the repeatable 1975 Ferrari 308 GTB or 2009 Ferrari 458 Italia) from the book 36 championship, add those amounts and cars.
- If you win all the duplicate cars you can (which, unfortunately, becomes impossible once you begin the menu book after the one where you can win the duplicate), you will have won 74 cars and bought 2 out of necessity. Depending on your luck, which 2 vehicles you bought, and the value of the unpriced cars, your garage would be worth between 9,766,548 Cr. and 11,837,188 Cr., and you'll have between 6 and 10 duplicates.
- Now, we move on to the optional winnable cars; those won for clearing mission sets, getting bronze in the International B/International A/Super licenses, and getting gold in all the licenses. Someone with modest ability and the willingness to abuse the controller for drifting (namely, me) should be able to get golds in the B/A/IB licenses and The Magic Mountan and Beyond the Horizon missions, and bronze in IA/Super (though I sweated, cheated, and stole my way to IA gold) and the remainder of the missions. That nets you another 14 cars (all priced) worth 3,289,000 Cr.
- Meanwhile, those who have a lot of luck and skill might be able to crank out golds in the rest of the licenses and missions. Those last 6 cars, now that the Chaparral 2J is priced, are worth 7,330,000 Cr.

I can't remember for the Spyder specifically but basically online auction sale prices the last few years if a Hagerty valuation isn't on the site. The 962C I just went in line with other cars of that era we've seen so far.
One was listed in 2019 with estimates around £1-1.5M and it didn't sell.
