The Crew 2 Hybrid Mode Update
The Crew 2 – April 2026 Update
Last October, we rolled out Hybrid Mode in The Crew 2, giving you the opportunity to launch the game either online or offline.

Since then, we’ve read tons of your messages and feedback about this new mode and just want to say thank you for all the enthusiasm and support!

With the help of your incredibly valuable feedback, which has led to the release of this update, it’s helped us shape this Hybrid mode even further to add more features you have been asking for.

FEATURES
Up until now, adding and saving your liveries was impossible in your offline session. With this update, one of most requested features you have been asking for is now possible, and you’ll be able to create and add your favourite customization to your offline save.

Offline “My livery” menu is now available
You can now create new liveries here
There, you’ll be able to find the liveries you’ve created offline and those you saved from online
You can now create and save sticker groups (custom forms) as well as those you saved from online
We know that some of the best liveries have already been created by other players. That’s why we’re also giving you the option to save your favourite online liveries to your offline save!

Online “My livery” export
You can now save offline liveries from the online mode (Save offline button)
You can now save offline sticker groups (custom forms) from the online mode (Save offline button)

STATISTICS
You told us that statistics regarding your progression and your vehicles were missing, and that this was something important to you!

That’s why you can now add your statistics from Online to your Offline save.

Pilot statistics can be added into your offline profile
Vehicles statistics can be added into your offline profile
Offline statistics now progress on your offline save

USER INTERFACE
After launching the offline mode, it could be frustrating to have to relaunch the game to switch between offline and online mode.

That’s why we’ve added an option in the menu to allow you to back to the login screen, so that you can dive straight back in.

Back to login button added

MISC
Various fixes
Automatic save pop-up shows up only one time per session from now

We hope this update added some of the features you had been hoping for to make your The Crew 2 offline experience the best it can be!

Thank you to all of our players who have left us their valuable feedback so far. We’re always happy and eager to receive this to ensure we can continue to refine and update the game to your wishes.

Our eyes are always peeled on our social media platforms and Discord, so please do continue to send us your feedback and insight as we continue to work on the Crew franchise.

There's still a small chance that our custom races can be used offline. I'm sure it's going to be harder to make it work.

In other news, there are now Summit Packs to buy ($5 each)!

Japanese Summit Pack
  • 300ZX Kaido-ou
  • Lancer Evo X Black Knight
  • RX-8 Thunderwave
European Summit Pack
  • 4C Serpente
  • Cayenne Basalt
  • M8 Performance
American Summit Pack
  • Camaro ZL1 Rift
  • Challenger Riff
  • GT Ruby
No compensation for any duplicates.

Speaking of Summits, American Bikers is returning, so the Scout Cruiser is up for grabs.

I checked to see how many Summit cars I have left, and not counting the upcoming ones I still got 27. With how frequently they show up, I should be able to get them all before the servers shut down (I'm assuming they'll shut down at the game's 10th anniversary).
I've got about 40 to go on my main account (Xbox) of which I still need about 10 for TCM.

Thinking about this further, in my opinion it's reasonable to assume the new DLC packs mean that the Summits related to these vehicles will NOT be returning before the game goes offline. So if you don't have these vehicles already, in my opinion the only way to get these will probably now be via the DLC.

But this is just a guess! I have no actual information about anything.

The only two things more remaining for offline mode only: Cosmetics for bucks, can be a big amount depending on rarity and Offline Track Creator for personal use.

Buying vanities with Bucks would be great. Don't know how the rotations would work, unless they update the shop to add everything.

There are more than 900 vanity items in TC2. There's no way they are going to make them available for Bucks. Even though it would be really simple. You wouldn't need the shop either. Just make everything available to buy. Just like wheels and body parts. But it won't happen. Maybe with mods on PC.

They could also go the Motorfest route and have vanities in crates or have them as rewards for completing events. They already have that system in the Summit, so I don't see why they won't put it on for normal races.
