Thanks to the customization tools that GT7 offers, it is very easy to make your own GR4 category car even if it does not have such a label, since a GT4 must, by definition, respect the stock car on which it is based as much as possible.
So I propose this thread for us to share ours.
I have followed the GR4 specs from the game, not the actual GT4 specs, and have tested them on track to give them performance equivalent to a real GR4, i.e. between 640 and 670pp, around 400hp and 1450kg or less.
All cars are tested in track, with similar performance with this settings, perfect for custom races. All of them do 1.46:xxx in Dragon trail seaside (with my skills, they can do better, not me)

This is weird. Before the new physics, this is on rail, but now is much oversteering. even that, is quite drivable and fast

A classic GT4 car that must be in the game. A little nervous tail, but fast and easy to drive

New livery more in line with that of a GT4, new setup.
It still likes to lose the rear if you go full throttle out of a corner, but if you throttle the throttle it will do what you want at breakneck speed.
And it has the plus of having one of the best sounds of all the Gr4

Alpine A110 GT4

mN3EnLt.jpg

unlike the mclaren, the alpine has gone from oversteering everywhere to being docile as a puppy.
but that does not mean that it is slow, in my tests it is the fastest of the GR4 despite its "little" power

I have changed the AMG GTS for the GTR to be more faithful to the real GT4 model, and it has been a success.
It's just as stable in corners, even without TCS, but it's faster and more aggressive, really fun

This should be a TCR, but since GT7 also includes FF cars to the Gr4 category, why shouldn't I?
Plus this car is all about fun, it does what you want, when you want, and it has wonderful oversteer that's easy to control.

I have to be honest, this is a beast, totally overpowered with the new physic, but also very fun to drive. with only 635pp destroy real 650pp GR4 cars

like the Focus, this is overpowered. With only 358cv, is fast as hell, on rails, and fast on corners

This is a real good new. Before the update, i was unable to setup this car to be fast, she only wants to kill you in every corner. But now, is very fast, a little nervous, but with back brake balance you can push it to the limit

Well, in races with no fuel consumption, this a winner, very fast at corners, very stable, none oversteer or understeer...but, it has a very bad fuel economy (can´t do 2 laps in lemans wtc700 with FM2 or 3 with FM6) and have a low top speed. you can win lemans in easy, but not in normal

Audi R8 Gr4

One of the great absences in GR4 can now be fixed.
This car can be defined with one word, GRIP. Go as fast as you want, the car will stick to the road no matter what you do.
It also has decent fuel economy and a good top speed.

This car has been quite a surprise. Before version 1.13, he was a bit difficult to control, with a lot of oversteer, but now he is meek as a puppy, but fierce as a tiger.
He is fast, very fast, he can take Porsche curves at 180/200kmh, but he can also do 3 laps in Lemans WTC700 on FM4.
Easy win on normal difficulty.

Very fun to drive, a little happy, but is fast. Not as good in fuel economy, but she can beat ant car

this is quite disappointing
Even with 5pp more than its rivals, the car is slower.
It doesn't matter if I use the full 8 speed gearbox, or set it to use only 5 or 6, it doesn't matter if I use anti lag, it's about 1sec slower in trial mountaion or dragon trail.
Anyway the car feels good and it's fun for sure

One of may favourite Custom GR4 cars, and one of the fastest
It has one of the best driving experiences, it's fun to drive, very stable, very fast, and it's also the cheapest ferrari!
It is faster than the 458 GR4

Well, at first it was a nightmare to drive this. turn the wheel a bit when you're going fast and the car will try to kill you, but update 1.13 fixed this.
Now, although the rear end is quite happy, it stays close to the ground, even in fast corners, and it is very enjoyable, and best of all, very fast!

Superb driving experience, she is literaly on rails, but you can push it to the limit without problem and she is going to eat the rivals and respond well.
Great top speed and fuel consumption, and, if you have a home theater, your neibourgs will love you, this sound great

I hope a lot of people hop onto this. I have not only made some Gr4 "race modded" cars, but a bunch of Gr5 fantasy spec cars, which I'm hoping PD will add legitimately in the future. There are a number of smaller leagues and racing clubs around the world, such as America's Sports Car Club of America, the SCCA, which run lower spec car classes than the beefy Beemers, Vettes, Stangs and Vipers with their 400hp-plus engines. Little 250-ish horsepower buzz bombs like the RX-7 Savanna and Lancia Delta Integrale are a real kick in the pants. Eh, I'm digressing, as usual.

Anyway, I bought a few cars from the UCD and Brand Central for such a Gr4 treatment, including the lovely MP4-12C which I have yet to subject to my nefarious scheme. I have a Ferrari F430 which I was tuning, and a Murcielago I'm running in what I fondly call the 24 Minutes of LeMans, which I was going to share but I can't seem to access it from My Page at gran-turismo dotcom, so this is my detuned C7 ZR1. I grabbed a livery from the showcase because I wanted to run it that day.

C7 ZR1-00.jpg

C7 ZR1 sheet-00.jpg

Some of my current racers are tuned for the 700PP events, like my Vette, so they're 75hp higher or so. But the rest of the tunes are the same. Most of them have weight reduction off to the side, Stage 2 to 4 to get them under 3100 lbs.

Wow, that Vette looks awesome.
Feel free to share your settings to.
Later I post more of mine, I have a lot.
I love the idea of gr5 cars, maybe 250/300hp.
I have some too, mostly hatchback, fully tuned with racing tyres

It feels very good on the track, tremendously stable and with a very safe driving, it is fast and to me it seems better than the 650s gr4 in the game
Have a look here..building a series around this same premise:
Michelin Pilot GT4 Cup Challenge presented by Snail (Season 3)

Our drivers list is a few posts down from the top for some of the cars already rendered. They really do make great Gr4/GT4 cars.

I added the Corvette settings sheet above.

I thought I'd share another. I have a Nissan 300ZX I'm working on, and she's handling pretty well. I still have some tuning to do to make her easier to race, but she's within the 660PP limit right now for Gr4. I've been giving my tuners-in-progress a carbon weave finish.

300ZX GT4-001.jpg

300ZX GT4 sheet-00.jpg

She's pretty okay, though even with TC1 she likes to spin without careful lead foot. If anyone has suggestions on improving this - @praiano63 - I'd be much obliged. ;)

Try low the acceleration sensitivity to 5

Very nice work my friends.

I wish I had your skills and enough time to do something like this.

I've built a 3.0 CSL along those lines, but I'm not quite happy with it yet. And I still don't know how I could get these pictures in good quality from my PS4 here in the forum, because taking a picture from the monitor is... well not that great.

These are the cars I’ve been working on for my Custom Races. All cars have the same suspension set up like the default Gr.4 cars. Plus, similar transmission settings to the same brand Gr.4. The downforce settings are the main problem with most of the cars. L1 and AMG GT R have the closest and pot on downforce settings to match Gr.4. Speaking on the Camaro, wish the ZL1 could delete the blower. It’s got the real GT4 body, just needs to ditch the forced induction. Though, it is ironic forced induction are most of the real GT4 homologated cars.
Nerfed the Maserati from 430BHP to 400BHP and I’ll see how that goes.
The 650S has no weight reduction option. So, can’t match the Gr.4 car.
For the R8, the power and weight are from the Audi Sport GT4 Customer brochure specs. Works out well, since I can only get power to a 5:95 split.

Other than these, the new Z is set up and I’m working on a ”BTCC” A45 to add to the TCR/BTCC Civics, Focus and Golf.

If you set up an account on the gran-turismo.com site, it mirrors your in-game personal page, including all your stats and gallery. Just share the pics, liveries, replays or whatever and they will show up on the website. It's how I was able to share my images. I'm also on my PS4 Pro for the time being, so I can make screen shots in-game and save them on a USB drive to load into my PC.

Just fudge it like PD does. ;)

That leaves you with terrible quality pics tho. :(

This is the only way to do it on PS4 really, change the screenshot file type to PNG and then copy them via USB to your PC.
On PS5 you can enable the auto-uploading feature and have the pictures on your phone a few moments after the screenshot was taken. Nice feature that :)

Well, my car images are from the site so they aren't terrible. It beats snapping a pic of your TV screen. But your PS5 method will be great, once one becomes available, and I can afford the darn thing. :indiff:

I bring 3 more cars that I will update in the first post

It has some stability issues, as discussed on the forum, but with this set up and TCS 2, it's a lot of fun to drive and really well behaved. It is not the fastest GR4, but one of the most beautiful

I typically screenshot the image on ps4, send the pic to my alternate psn account. Then on the Playstation app, I go to my pm messages, and go to my alternate account conversation. All pics are right there. Click on it, and then there is an icon in the bottom right if the screen to save/download. Will show up in your download file box on your phone or computer, whichever you used. No loss of quality.

Here's one from me

Porsche 911 GT3 (996)

She's got a wide body modification, some racing upgrades such as suspension brake discs and pads, clutch and flywheel, LSD and a full new exhaust system which gives her 400bhp. 100Kg Ballast is added taking her fat ass up to 1450Kg..
I can then limit her grunt or feed her more weight to balance her performance but tbh she gives me great Group 4 racing as she is below.
Available in 3 outfits depending on her mood.

Definitely i will try this!
I own a little different setup (less weight and power) but same 660pp

So easy to drive, but also sounds nothing like the real car unfortunately.

Cool, Im the designer of the team. Also we wrap the cars. Looking forward to see the AMG GT R.
That’s too cool!👍 Good stuff! I’m a Supra fan( recreated variations of the CMR cars), but I like your AMGs(haven’t found a Silver Cup number plate yet). The NM team did fantastic, for such a big field, in the first round. I’ll definitely be adding more of the graphics from the AMG GT4. :)

I thought I'd give this awesome thread a bump.

M3 Sport Evo-00b.jpg

This is based on a livery by inkspot_70 which I would have used, but it wasn't for a widebody car, which this one is. So it's not really a Gr4, but close enough for me. I haven't tuned it yet - I spent almost an entire day just painting the thing - so no sheet to share.

Back
