Maybe just for you - general birthday threads are waaay to impersonal, and we could just look at the bottom of the main page to see everyone's birthdays. Plus, of those 43 people, I bet that a maximum of 5 are still posting here, and only 1 or 2 of those people will see this.

It's been tried before, and ignored (or locked) every time.

Yeah, the entire point is to say Happy Birthday to friends. One of the reasons why I dislike when people scour the Birthday list and make like 6 threads, or those who post the same message in every thread and who probably don’t care about the person who is having their birthday.
