I have all the LEGO cataloges since 1989 except this year - I have yet to pick it up.

Anyway in my 1989 catalogue I noticed some Grand Prix/F1 Lego this has to be the coolest lego pic ever!

Sorry about the bad quality! Stupid Sannner!

I used to collect it. But then i sold it all to my brother for $80.00NZ.

Oh my!

That's funny! However, Drew may want to learn from British Men's magazine FHM, who were successfully sued by Mattel for using Ken and Barbie to demonstrate their 'Position of the Month'.

Oh man! I love Legos! I have Legos that go back to '91. My fav's were Space and Aquazone. I've quit buying them along time ago, they got waaaay to expensive.

With Lego Technic sets I create working cars...you wouldn't believe how hard it is to get a steering wheel to work correctly with all the wheels! I even made an engine with a crank on the bottom which when you wound it up and let go- the car would shoot forward and the pistons would move up and down. I gotta' go buy some Lego's later...build me a few cars. :D

I did that too Kosmic, built cars from nothing but ideas that I thought up. I was even able to create a car with steering, suspension(both front and rear), springloaded bumpers, a rear hatch(it looked like a 323 lol), doors on the sides opened, it was awsome till I was testing it's strength in accidents and it lost control and slammed into one of the steel posts that holds the main level of our house up in my basement(concrete floor, it's like a prision down there, but great for zooming stuff and ect.)and the springloaded bumper wasn't enough and the car came apart in tons of peices and I just didn't put it back together...

Aww! That's such a sad story!

I used to build models which could be thrown down the stairs without breaking!

I'd make planes, cars, ships, bulidings...even had those "roads" that are featured in your scanned catalog. When I was bored (that is, too much stasis in "Lego-Land"), it was natural disaster time!

Chaos!

(It) will explode like a thousand suns
I have become Death, Destroyer of Worlds!

And then from the debris, comes new life. New bulidings, new cars, new happy Lego people. They are unaware of any previous disaster, nor are they prepared for the next Big One.

Good to see that Legos are still popular. After Matchbox/Hot Wheels cars and Atari, I really didn't need too many other toys for rainy days when I was younger.

Yeah Mazkid, exactly what I would do. I had a car which was about as big as a mdel you would build with working everything. Suspension, turning, etc. I even built the Chassis seperately. You could put a whole new "shell" on it. Too bad that he "wiped out in an explosion which was created by natural causes; destroying the whole car...even..yes...Mr. F1-Man..."

I have a trunk full of legos (3 feet tall, 4 feet long, 3 feet wide)

Bwahahaha, right now i'm using my 18x18 in baseplate to build a column of legos, although i havent worked on it it a while

I used to be SOOO into Legos. Just a couple years ago, I made a huge amusement park, complete with a freefall-like roller coaster (for those of you who know what Superman the Ride is [Six Flags Magic Mtn.], it's based loosely on that)... you won't believe how difficult it was to engineer the "rail"! I even made a buffer system so that when it came back down, it would go through a series of steps to gradually slow it down and prevent the little yeller folks from getting whiplash. Then of course, there was the rest of the park, which I will not elaborate on for a lack of typing enthusiasm at the moment...

Did anyone ever see the Lego Millenium Falcon?

I saw it when it first came out and now you can't get it anymore.
The wanted like $175 for it.

Neat stuff though. I still have all my lego's from when I was a kid.
