Wanted to ask people hopefully in great detail or not up to you, what are the biggest difference makers and things that made leaps in your driving ability/consistency?

The basics so far at least for me was the obvious consistently racing, watching the best replay's and taking notes as well as watching my own and seeing what I can do better.

To even further the question what main resources either changed the way you approach racing and made you sort out bad habits of sorts.

Bonus question on events such as Manufacturers/Nations cup or even dailys races do you have any traditions/rituals before you enter them for example doing some exercise before hand, eating or drinking some sorts of foods or avoiding others?

Learning to brake earlier and smoother, then gradually later.

Following ghosts and working up to staying close to them.

So much improvement is to be had in just freeing up some mental capacity by learning tracks, corners (braking markers and sequence) so you can work on the detail and understanding where you can improve or focus.
To even further the question what main resources either changed the way you approach racing and made you sort out bad habits of sorts.
The TT thread and Daily Races threads hands down. Watch @Tidgney lap guides and also some streamers like Rory and Sparks.

Gold CE experiences really helps you get much better input fidelity which is the core skill you need, everything else hangs off of that.

Apex markers, they show me when to turn in, clip the apex and line up for exit of turn. The Driving line (orange yellow dashes) do not always line up with the apex marker line.
I find my runs are more consistent and improve when "connecting the dots" of apex markers in a turn.
 
As a new player of GT7, I do a custom race on every circuit for a minimum of an hour. This equals 25-30 laps on most tracks. All settings are as difficult as I can make it.

It can take a good 30 minutes before I even get out of 20th place. But once I dial in the circuit, it only takes another 20 mins to get to the front of the pack.

I do this about 3-4 times per week and is the only thing I do other than visit the used car market.

I do this with multiple car groups per circuit. Last night I got comfortable with the fast Tokyo highway track with a Gr.4 car, so I did another hour in a Gr.3 car. Still can’t nail that first corner 100%, so I’ll do it again until I can.

Track knowledge (seat time), for me, is the biggest difference between chasing the lead car in hope of winning, and hot lapping each circuit in an attempt to shave hundredths off the FL. When I reach the latter, it’s almost meditation.
 
Circuit experiences practically gives you a tutorial for almost every corner of every track. Also take advantage of downloadable ghosts. Sometime the "best" line isn't the "fastest" line.
 
I run a lot of the daily races however, this week I started doing searches of races in the multiplayer lobbies.
I always take a photo of the starting grid and then compare it to the final standings.
The thing that really helps me is to watch replays of my races from other cars perspectives, seeing where brake points and gear selections are from the faster cars, as well as the car just behind me.
The nice thing about the open lobbies is that I’m no longer racing in just a B or a C division, it’s more of a mixed bag, form A+ to E. I have not won anything yet in the open lobbies however I’m learning more from the faster drivers and the sportsmanship is much better. Somebody spun me coming out of a corner yesterday and the top 4 drivers pulled over and waited while I reset.

As a B rated driver myself, you are fortunate to find those open lobbies that the sportsmanship is good, every time I get in a lobby of more than 4 drivers or such it turns out everyone is just as rude as in daily races.

Ya, well, I had one of those today too, maybe I spoke too soon but generally there have been fewer issues.
I had one today that was more of just a qualify day at Laguna Seca. I was able to run a few laps, change settings and run again, trying to catch the guys at the top of the board. It’s nice to drive vs live bodies and play with settings.
 
The biggest thing for me has been the clean race bonus. My driving has improved loads to ensure I get the extra 50%. Still not improving using a wheel though. I bought a Logitech G923 and I'm nowhere near my pad times yet
 
Understanding that no brake and no acceleration makes the car rotate more. And coordinating this moment when hitting the apex.
