A while ago, I traded deodorant brands, from Speed Stick to Adidias, because the Adidas brand item was a free gift for my hockey team (it was a bulk pack) on their trip to Sweden. I found it adequate to use, though my older sister warned me of how anti-perspirant was linked to causing cancer in the body. However, recently, I found my application points to actually drip sweat. The 'anti-perspirant' portion (it was a deodorant/anti-perspirant) of the product never really did work, but this was new. It actually occurred while participating in FGT, and during hockey games. The sweat that dripped would sting when it came in contact with my skin, a bit like being hit by hail, but with less frequency.
With this in mind, I know this is not normal, but does anybody perhaps know what I may be experiencing, or if they had experienced this not only with Adidas deodorant/anti-perspirant, but with other brands? Would discontinuation of use of the product be recommended?
