Was I the only person who found this video advertising a bloody expensive wheel absolutely horrendus and incredibly awful/hilarious.

It just looked so false and fake and never actually showed what thw wheel was capable of! A load of marketing hoo-haa that seemed to be done in Windows movie maker.

The icing on the cake was the guy needlessly sweating over the steering wheel for no apparent reason, you'd think the guy was stuck in the desert or something:tdown::indiff:

A bit of a mess-up from a bad wheel company to start with...

Yeah I feel like I made better commercials in 11th grade media arts, it's not helping the brand image much at all.

That commercial looked straight out of the early '90s. I was just waiting for the phrase "to the extreme" or "radical" to fly into my face.

Ya, it's pretty brutal. I wonder if they either tried to be cutting edge, or cost cutting. Looks like an 8th grader made it.

What's wrong with the commercial? I expected something much worse, yes it feels outdated, but it gives you plenty of info about the wheel, the pedal set, ff motors, and at the end it spins really fast so you can see it's better then anything Logitech can offer..

I don't think it's too bad. It just that it looks like a commercial took straight from the '90s.

Wow thats horrible. Total lack of information, and the quality was from 10+ years ago.

And whats with the guy at the end? Maybe he shouldn't pop E and snort coke while playing GT.

Yes you were. While it might be a bit overfluffed it's just... a commercial.

Obsess much? :)

I loved the way the words came spinning in and the random radar in the top right of the screen.

Lamest video ever. When I downloaded it I was expecting an epic showing of this wheel, but instead I watched horrified as what appeared to be 80s footage of cars racing with arbitrary green tones was showing on-screen.

Not a fan.

That's beacuse is "Japanesse" :p

You mean that company named Thrustmaster and based in Oregon?

very Japanese indeed.

It's just a teaser. Some people really have to armchair criticize everything nowadays. I'd be very curious to see the teasers that you could create, my dear know-it-all geniuses. Very curious indeed.

You realize that a first impression is very important. The average gamer will not read into a product in depth (even though they should), and they go buy trailers/teasers like this, and how appealing they look. Also, you can't really compare the work of the people here to something Thrustmaster should be able to come up with due to their resources.

Yes, cause a 500 dollars wheel is for "average gamers" rite?

Marketing geniuses too, not just video editors extraordinaires. I see, I see... :D

Maybe your right, but that doesn't disqualify the fact that first impressions are very important to the human nature.

yep, and the first impression I'm having from this thread is that some people overestimate themselves and their opinion quite a lot :D

Scratch that. It's the first (and lasting) impression I got from a large chunk of the people posting around here.

But we out number you, and that's what matters. You could be right for all that matters, but the point is from a business perspective, that commercial failed. It didn't do its job :)

I almost fell asleep watching that. The person made that commercial have the ability to do better than that I believe. Doesn't matter because that commercial is terrible!
