If you watch the long end movie you would think that they did the same as GT4 and just record a lap of the 'Ring. At first i think they did, BUT if you watch it closely It is to good to be true. I think they made there own video. I don't know if it is just me or not. If so I hope this is where the new graphics a going.
 
I could've used a few more tracks MORE than a movie I'll never watch again.

Yes it is too good to be true, the footage is real. I didn't know it when the video began, but there are clues which show that it's real.
 
I am on professional events, and I see gt world championship. Is that the last series in the game already?
 
look at the detail off the track.. no way PD would go into that much detail putting together an ending movie.. its def real footage
 
Dude, the OP is obviously right. It is definitely CG. PD does things not because they are easy or make any sense, PD chooses to go to the moon in this decade and do the other things, not because they are easy, but because they are hard, because that goal will serve to organize and measure the best of our energies and skills, because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept, one we are unwilling to postpone(psych), and one which we intend to win, and the others, too.

Do people really think its fake?

When I saw the video I never once thought it was a fake. Its called HD. You can see the shadow of the car, the smoke effects would be to hard to immatate, the sunrise would also be next to impossible to duplicate with todays tech.
 
The video (I just saw it) was not that great a gift for beating that ****ing Jag at Nurburgring (neither was the standard ford GT). Although I do like that it takes me a minute to tell the difference between CG and real footage. Why I love the game.

And I think they had a camera effect on at least during the highway footage. That looked CG as well but I'm pretty sure it was real.

Oh, no doubt the footage is 'manipulated', but what isn't? As far as I can tell it probably has a high contrast effect and a vignette mask, though I'm obviously no expert. Although I did watch the ending at around 4am and I was tired, I found it oddly moving...
 
yes definitely HD no doubt. do you think they also used HDR technology? as seen in the video below, HDR video just looks like a video game
 
I can't watch it or any of the movies....every time I try it just sits there frozen :( Anyone else have this problem?
 
Really easy way to tell.
Does the shadow of the car look like a staircase? No, then it is real.
