Hi there,

I'm finally able to afford a lcd-tv to have PS2 and Xbox 360 run in hi-def. BUT before I happen to enjoy this pleasure I would like to know some things, I hope you don't mind me asking something like that:
Is there anybody how could recommend (or at least report about ;) ) the Samsung LE-32M61B? I collected some information about that stunning tv and would like to know if there's somebody who already owns one of those? What about the picture quality (I just want to use it for GT4 and some other console racing games)? I would be very grateful if somebody could help me with my decision. If you have any further recommendments concerning other (better) screens just give me a message.

I dunno about the LE-32M61B but there's info here about a similar LCD. This is at the UK Samsung site. I would assume the tv will have a different name in the US.

As for 1080p....I'm not sure there are ANY 1080p tv's in Europe at the moment. If there are they're prohibitively expensive! It'll be a few years before they become as commonplace as they are in the US.

Right now 720p and 1080i is the norm for HDTV. I expect 1080p to catch on in a few years time though perhaps the US and Japan already have a head start!
