Up to chapter 5 and loving it so far.
Finally a genre i loved for so many years has returned in good old fashion.
It's a mixture of Resident Evil 4 and Silent Hill, seriously messed up scenarios happen that literally leave you confused and wondering what's around the corner. The use of sound is great in the game too! The opening sequence is literally the most tense moment I've had in a video game since nemesis in Resi 3.
I love it how the game doesn't hold your hand and tell you exactly what to do like pretty much every game out these days. It's more about trial and error just like the older games.
The big bars on top & bottom of the screen take 2/3 chapters to get used to and i expect the graphics to be better (especially during cutscenes) but neither of them bother me in the slightest now.
I would seriously recommend this to any survival horror fans out there that have lost faith in the genre.
