Hahahahaha!!!

ok I've calmed down.

I dont respect drifting, nor drifters. I do haowever accept them.

I personally drift in gt3 but once in a blue moon.

however in real life I place drifters and street racers in the same category. They both should have thier licences cancelled as they are causing danger not just to themselves but to others and other poeples property.
there is a place for these activities and it is not on public roads.
try a race track for gods sake. or get permission to do it on private property.
there are some real dicks out there!

Well, yeah I have to clarify: I'm talking about respecting drifting at actual, sanctioned events, not just driving like an idiot on public roads - no matter how good you think you are. For that I have nothing but contempt, whether it be stoplight dragracing, top speed contests on the freeway, or drifting. Anybody caught doing any of those things should face a mandatory 6 month suspension at the least.

too right neon!

you go to see the sprint-cars often neon?
we have a track at Paramatta, a burb of sydney. I have been quite a few time. it fun, but ya get covered in mud and clay! :D

As long as there are tire companies trying to sell tires there will be support for drifting.
As long as there are people, there will be high running emotions, whether they are warranted or not.
Don't ever get mad and start talking/typing. You WILL look like an idiot. Any time you follow your dick/machsimo into a situation, whatever you do, it will be wrong. That said:

Drifting is. It won't go away. Yes, it became popular in Japan in the 80s when they finally started making a lot more RWD cars with the power neccessary to drift.

I refuse to see it as "something new under the sun', as it isn't. I consider it a form of "dance" performed with a 2200lb. "dancer". But just as dance can only be judged/rated by opinion. Drifting can only really be rated by opinion. But what I see, and what you see, and our respective opinions of it will always be different.

As for being sticklers regarding semi-proper spelling and grammar, understand that we consider it important to be able to just read your posts. This isn't the military or the CIA, we don't think it should be necessary to decode what you have written.

Just as your handwritten stuff shouldn't look like you dipped a chicken's feet in ink then let it run loose on your paper. Your posts should be free of the same phenomena.
Plus, if you go back and proof-read, you can see the stuff you said that makes you look like an idiot and take it out before you confirm that image.

i think drifting is jus6t a fun way to play games. I race while i drift, because i usually can hold more speed that way, but i do it because i dont want to limit my self. the only drifters i have a problem with are the Inicial (sp?) D people who refuse to drift something that isnt an '00 sprinter toreno and tlk lke ths.
