The Future of the GTSpeed Forums

As many of you probably already know, much to my dismay, AltF8 has decided to close Gran Turismo Speed (read his latest announcement on the GTSpeed.com homepage). Therefore, because these forums will no longer have a website, they will be moved and merged with our other forums here on GTPlanet. I've outlined my plans below (to be carried out tomorrow)...
  • Gran Turismo Speed General Discussion - all threads will be moved into the Rumble Strip.
  • Gran Turismo 3 A-Spec Races - all threads will be moved into their appropriate Challenges and Races forum.
  • Gran Turismo 2 Races - all threads will be moved into their appropriate Challenge and Races forum.
  • Gran Turismo 3 Settings Foundry - will become a sub-forum of the GT3 forum, dedicated to tuning tips and tricks
  • Gran Turismo 2 Settings Foundry - will become a sub-forum of the GT2 forum, dedicated to tuning tips and tricks
  • One Lap of GT3 Discussion - due to the challenge being cancelled, these threads will be moved to the Recycle Bin.
I, for one, have enjoyed hosting Gran Turismo Speed's forums and having their members as a part of our community. Best of luck to AltF8 in his new online RPG project! :)
 
Yeah, but hes on to bigger and better things, so lets cheer him on.
I think he would appreciate the support for his new project. Yay.

That's a good way to think of it. :) If his reputation is anything to go buy, the new RPG should be awesome! :thumbsup:
