The Getaway 3 - Status?

I'd forgotten about this game completely, it was being touted in the early days of the PS3 and the demos look impressive even now. Youtube is the usual minefield of "it's cancelled/no it isn't" comments, anyone know the official line on this? Will it ever see the light of day?

They are making it? I thought the series stopped ages ago.

I loved the ones on PS2, especially the one with all the secret cars.

I think it's on hold. Indefinitely.

I really do hope a new one is launched in the future. The older games we're so unique, there were over 45 hidden cars in the older games I believe. And there are still questions as to why the Audi TT and the V8 Vantage aren't in the game, but in the demo.
