The fist one was great. A refeshing game from the rest in that genre, but there are too many goood games coming out now that deserve more attention.

I think I might take a look a this. I didn't mind the first one, although I got quite bored of it after a while because the gameplay got a little irritating. With a little improving to some things from the first one, I think it has the potential to be a good game.

I've heard it has the same yo yo frame rate as the first one. I'll be avoiding this. First one was a great idea, VERY badly made.

Sony sent me the demo a few weeks ago.

I couldn't (it wouldn't let me) pick up a new gun...

Avoid this GTA wannabe.

If my Blockbuster doesn't get in Mercaneries or Resident Evil 4 tomorrow im gonna ask if they have this. I want it. I had the first one and I loved it alot. I don't know why I traded it in through.

Maybe because you played the demo. Is it true you can drive inside cars?

Yeah, you can drive cars, just like the first one.

The framerate is pretty bad. It hovers around 25fps and it can dip down into the teens when there is Splinter Cell whoring specular and soft lighting effects.

avoid this gta wannabe because thats all it really is with a gay london setting and boring gameplay. its got better graphics and handling though.

I think RobcioPL was asking whether you can drive in First Person view. I've not heard anything about that, though.

I think I´ll pass this one, the first game was ok but there´s too many good games to play right now.

I rented it. Graphics are better. Gameplay kinda still sucks but other than that I think it's better than the first one just not the story.

I got it and played the first part as the cop. If you liked the first one (the story and stuff like that was enough for me to overlook the gameplay issues sometimes) then I'm guessing you could give this one a try too. And in the gamespy review I read you can pick up weapons like in the first one, but not as the cop. I also really like the manual aim in the series, you actually line up the gun to the person, a nice touch I think.

I have just beat the game, but I was wundering are there multiple endings? Like for instance you can chose to stay or leave sam, and it seams you have the choice to kill mitch( i killed him). Does anyone know if this is true?

There are two more endings that I know of.

Alternate endings:
In Chapter 18, allow Jackie to die. When you reach Chapter 22, there will be an alternate ending and a different chapter than the one that can be played if you had saved her.

In Chapter 13, get out of the car instead of taking Sam to the Skobel building. In addition to Chapter 14 playing differently, when you reach Chapter 22, there will be an alternate ending.

Rented it and can't say that I like it. The game started out bleak and boring. They didn't improve the game where it was needed (the framerate :)). It is still the same old map, just with different cars. Driving around just isn't a thrill with this game.
