looking back at the old threads( if i brang one back a little bit a ppl will remember) what happen? alot of ppl ask questions mostly about 4wd drifting and when did all the teams come into play? and there was that much vids goin around? what happen to all of the old members?

I'm not exactly sure why I'm replying to this, but here goes.

Asking about the 'old members' ... I used to play Magic The Gathering (card game). My friends and I never could find a good place to play so one day I suggested the public library. They had large meeting rooms that seemed to always be available. So the four of us regularly met up there and played for hours. Eventually other kids caught wind of it and started coming. Then, finally discusted by the "n00bs", my friends and I ventured off to new places.

You see, people get tired of putting up with the hastle of re-explaining everything ten times a day. Or just the general change in atmostsphere caused by new personalities that they don't necessarily jive with. Eventually the old group moves on. Tired of the hobby, tired of the new people, tired of the hastle.

Or maybe they all got hit by a bus!

happy 2801 post nk4e haha
Edit: i know what you mean Nk4e i use to play thps4(tony hawk proskater 4) online with my clan we were very good and so some where along the ilne it got boring and i moved on to T.H.U.G though some of the members returned but we all missed the good old days... but you know i'll be around GTp for a while.

This has been brought up many a time. I think that a reson why the convos have kinda deteriorated is for more than one reason. One being that most ppl are newbs and lots of hte older crowd have left. But i think more importantly, with the creation of team threads and such i noticed that a lot of stuff kinda went out the window. I think alot of the older people were kinda annoyed when all these teams just popped up and cluttered what used to be interesting stuff that anyone could respond too... I am not saying that teams are bad or anything... I am just saying that the teams changed the environment here in the drifter's forum...

(i didn't notice about my post thx for reminding me,ryen- party time ^_^) or i can put it to my words, i remember when i was a ricer( yes i was a ricer, but i always didn't want to change the skyline) but after i look at importtuner and superstreetwith some of my old friends and some freshmen would follow in and ask alot of questions like what year is this car?,why this, etc. after that they got their friends in it, and then i left ricing

wasn't the first team that popped up was project d, or another reason is that the old members have no time for gtp -.-

Another good reason... Yes PD was the first... and about a month after all hell broke loose... Not just MD but a lot of teams and some mockeries... :D

We are not alone in that respect, akina. Man i think you were the focus of one of the first threads i posted in here at GTP... :memories:

same here i had like 4 or 5 threads that i asked for help, until bengee, drifterzzz, sheron, etc showed me the light :D and thank you

Actually, it's quite funny to read old threads here. You get to see the people that 'frown upon' or 'make fun' of people who drift nowadays when they still actually liked it or was at least interested in drifting.
