RACE TO WIN!

Racing fans, this is your chance to show off your driving skills in the first ever
Gran Turismo™ 4 Challenge - and take home some incredible prizes. Every Sunday from July 24 through October 9, thirty-two contestants* will compete in races for the fastest times on the PlayStation Experience, PlayStation Patrol and PlayStation Locker Room Challenge Tour!

Not only do you get to compete for national bragging rights, this competition is loaded with all sorts of prizes. Every Sunday the local winner* on each truck will get a copy of Gran Turismo 4, a PlayStation branded t-shirt and their time entered into the pool for Grand, 1st and 2nd prizes. The Grand Prize winner (the guy or gal with the fastest official time at the end of the entire contest) will receive $1,000 in cash, a PlayStation®2 system (network-ready slim model), ten (10) PlayStation 2 games (selection of games at Sponsor's discretion only), a
Gran Turismo 4 Nike® shoe kit, a Gran Turismo 4 Nike Sphere jacket (size depends upon availability), and a Gran Turismo 4 "Driving the Game" book. We also have some incredible prizes for the 1st and 2nd place winners, but we won't bore you with the details - we know you just want to come and show us how good you really are!

For a list of dates and locations in your area, check the truck tour schedules
(tour schedule is subject to change).

Have any of you heard of this, and I did a search and found nothing on it, i was contemplating to add this to the gt4 general disscussion, somehow i feel i should have...sorry ahead of time.

Sometimes I just hate living in Denver - we get overlooked for stuff like this soooo many times. We're big enough to have 4 major sports teams, one of the best concert venues in the WORLD (Red Rocks) - a HUGE technology base, but not big enough for Sony/PD to bother to swing by on their way from Cali to Texas...buggers. :ouch:
