There is a rumor I've heard but haven't been able to subtantiate. Agreed that the cars we get from winning gold in the licenses can be won or bought, I've heard that there is a slight difference in horses. When I say slight, I mean slight. Around 10 hp I think in stock form. Maybe someone could prove me wrong

There is something to this rumor. I was checking out the Lancer EVO V GSR that you win by beating the Beginner races, and it showed 306 HP. Stock showroom GSR is only 276HP. I haven't done anything to my GSR, like oil change or anything, so that could be the proof we need...

The horsepower of your car will vary depending on mileage. From what I've read there is typically 3 HP variations for each car, excluding the oil related changes. One is 'brand new' then around 200 to 300 miles you get the 'just broken in' HP which isthe car's pumped-up-like-Ahnold HP value, and after that you get what I call the 'wallered' (wahl-erd) HP value which is more settled-down-not-on-steroids than the former one.
