Join me and take the pledge to make GT5 a better place!

1. As a room host, I will not use fixed host status unless I'm sure I can stay with the room until interest completely wanes.

2. As a room host, I will not put racial slurs or off-color jokes in my room titles.

3. When I inherit a room, I will faithfully maintain all that is set out in the room title, for the benefit of people who have nothing but room titles to go off of.

4. As a room host, if I'm going to sleep or AFK, I will leave and pass the room to someone else.

5. I will not swear excessively in text or voice chat.

6. I will not paint my cars in chrome or in bright, mismatched colors for the sole purpose of making them visually obnoxious.

7. I will not join a "mic only" room without a mic, try to race in a drift room, constantly get in people's ways, or otherwise make the room host quit the race to kick me.

8. I will not join a room planning to votekick the host and hijack it for my own purposes.

9. I will not ram someone off the road because I have a faster car than they do.

10. I will not constantly bother the room host because I don't like the settings.

11. I will try my best to enter the east (toll booth) hairpin at SSR7 properly, rather than braking far too late, trying to ride the walls, and causing a massive pileup.

UPDATE

12. As a room host, I will not select London for cars capable of any significant speed.

Well, attempting to apply these rules to non-GTP is going to be rather difficult; They're going to claim "ItsMyGame Can Do WHatevr" or something like that.

I agree w/ your list though; perhaps it could be a stickey'd list?

EDIT: These rules seem rather Common Sense, don't they?

Another is that you should not force one to drive without driving aids.
