PD was only one month late with the latest set of Hagerty's price adjustments, and, at least without the 12 3 remaining cars for which prices cannot be estimated because they neither have new engines/new bodies available to purchase nor are donors for engine swaps, it's a slight deflation rather than the inflation all the previous changes were. In fact, only 2 cars are known to have increased in price, while 10 decreased in price. As (almost) always, these changes will take/have taken effect with the cars' post-1.43 appearances, which means Hagerty's is still charging 4,750,000 Cr. for the 1996 Ferrari F50.

The full chart is behind the spoiler, but the cars that will be changing/have changed in price in their post-1.43 update appearances are (last updated 10:05 pm CDT 3/15/2024):
  • 1964 Aston Martin DB5 - 892,000 Cr. (-37,000 Cr./-3.98%)
  • 1958 Chevrolet Corvette (C1) - 121,000 Cr. (-2,000 Cr./-1.63%)
  • 1969 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 - 119,000 Cr. (+3,000 Cr./+2.59%)
  • 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T - 233,000 Cr. (-5,000 Cr./-2.10%)
  • 1992 Ferrari F40 - 3,100,000 Cr. (-200,000 Cr./-6.06%)
  • 1996 Ferrari F50 - 4,450,000 Cr. (-300,000 Cr./-6.32%)
  • 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 - 317,000 Cr. (-20,000 Cr./-5.93%)
  • 1967 Lamborghini Miura P400 Bertone Prototype - 3,750,000 Cr. (+250,000 Cr./+7.14%)
  • 1980 Maserati Merak SS - 68,000 Cr. (-10,500 Cr./-13.38%)
  • 1964 Porsche Carrera GTS (904) - 2,300,000 Cr. (-200,000 Cr./-8.00%)
  • 1965 Shelby G.T.350 - 460,000 Cr. (-40,000 Cr./-8.00%)
  • 1966 Shelby Cobra 427 - 2,400,000 Cr. (-100,000 Cr./-4.00%)

Good to see prices going down instead of up for a change. I need to get back on the grind and earn some Credits!

Given that the prices are linked to the real ones, if McLaren F1 gets a price drop, it equals to a natural disaster.
Absolutely an abnormal situation.

Considering the short-tail 1995 started at 10,500,000 Cr. and the long-tail 1997 started at 9,000,000 Cr., it would take a rather massive drop to equal a natural disaster.

@Eggstor
Do you have the dates that go with the pricing you have for post 1.43?
Dates? The prices go/went into effect with each car's first post-1.43 appearance starting 3/1 (assuming it comes back before the next set of adjustments, allegedly due in a May update).

Reckon I should have been more specific with my question. I am asking of you have the dates of the last appearances, regardless of pre or post 1.43 for the cars with prices in your list in the OP?

So I've been buying LCDs as they come up and as I can afford them... I just made a list and marked off the remaining ones I need.

The good news is, it's only five. The bad news is, they cost 93,000,000 (4x20s and 1x13). I don't know whether to  or :( .

One of them is the 250 GTO which is available now. I have 19mil in the bank and 2mil coming for a gold TT in a couple days so I can afford it. But, I have to buy the GT-One when it comes out so no idea how much that'll be.

I shouldn't have to stress about virtual money like I do real money PD!

I'm in much the same boat on the Plus account, only all 3 of my remaining cars, including the 250 GTO, are of the 20,000,000-Cr. variety and I won't have 30,000,000 Cr. by Thursday. On the GTP account, while I have all the cars, I'm currently under 10,000,000 Cr. a tick over 12,000,000 Cr.

I'm anticipating the GT-One being at least 10,000,000 Cr. based on the fact that the only mid-to-late-1990s Le Mans car (or its road-going variant, just in case we get that version like we did the Porsche 911 GT1 Strassenversion) that isn't 8 figures is the CLK-LM. It is, of course, a small sample size of 3 Le Mans cars and 1 homologation car, but given Hagerty's influence and the fact one of the 1999 GT-Ones won its class and was 2nd overall, it easily could be the 14,000,000 Cr. the F1 longtail is or the 15,000,000 Cr. the F1 shorttail was before the 1.43 price updates.

Oh man, I hope not! Just doing some mental math...

I have 19mil and will get two more on Thursday. Friday will also bring the new weekly challenge races and no way to know what the rewards will be but I hope it's just credits. Let's just say for arguments sake it's the same as this week, 800k. And, I am hoping the new update comes with some new cafe menus and I already have the required cars and it's a 6* ticket and it's good money or a good car I already have and can sell.

I am making a lot of assumptions but I could have 22mil+ by the weekend. Was hoping to be able to buy the Ferrari and GT-One. Now I am just over thinking things. Guess we'll see what the GT-One costs and whether or not it's in the LCD (assuming it will be).

It's not going to be a Brand Central car, as all 3 variants are late 1990's models. None of the other Le Mans/homologation cars are in the UCD, so it's going to be a Hagerty's car. As for the cost, I based it on what its contemporaries are going for in Hagerty's, though I wish it were Group C prices instead.

Don't forget to include the race winnings for the weekly challenges. Only 6 times of 20 ("only") have clean wins plus the guaranteed money not been 800,000 Cr. Of course, 4 of those have had just a 5-star ticket as the non-cash bonus (most likely 100,000 Cr., with a fair chance of something worthless-to-nearly worthless and a small chance of something worth more than 100,000 Cr.), while 2 have had (mostly-)lucrative 6-star car tickets as a non-cash bonus.

The last set of post-launch cars added to Hagerty's were available for 11 days each, which is a bit more than almost all of the cars in the rotation. That should be enough time to grind out close to 10,000,000 Cr.

All good points.

I don't grind. That being said I need a little break from the game. And when I say that I mean generally speaking but mostly Sport mode (which is all I do anyway other than the TTs and Weekly Challenges for the $). I might be down for a trip or two to Sardegna in the NSX GT500.

All questions will be answered tomorrow.

@Eggstor

Did you start a new thread for post 1.44 or gonna keep it here? I'm about to update the SNAIL legend car list pricing and would like to make sure I'm looking at the most current data.

I appreciate you keeping up with it! Thanks!🥃🥃

OP updated with the return of the 1989 Mercedes-Benz Sauber Mercedes C9, which did not change in price. That leaves 3 cars left to reprice.

I only start new threads when PD has updates that change Hagerty's prices. As 1.44 didn't do that, we're still on this thread.
