Has anyone here seen this yet? what do you think of it? as i thought the first was un-original and brought out at the same time as others of the same genre so it didn't really stand out too much...

It is absolutely dreadful. I was a huge fan of the first remake, but this was atrocious. It was as though the makers had the same skill level I would expect from a group of Grade 12 high school students trying to make a horror film. If you don't believe me, see it. It might do some of you some good to waste 10 bucks and two hours of your life on this kak.

I don't get it why they make sequels of crappy films. In the past, sequels were made of good films, trying to work up on the success of the original to sell more; but what good does it do to make a sequel of an already crappy film??


Same goes with Hostel 2

Because people paid to watch the original. It's not about if the film was actually good or not, it's ewather or not they think people will actually pay to go and see it. Sadly that often means that clever films with good dialogue and an involving plot don't tend to get as much public interest.
