Argh!, figures RL gets in the way just when you least expect it. I've just returned home and I will now do the race.

Yeah, I have been thinking the same thing....

Maybe he's been put in a rubber room, for running round like that kid in Dewy's class (Malcolm in the middle), but instead of a set of motorbike handlebars he's holding a DFP!:D

Or he could just be ill, or busy!:(

But I agree, it's not like him to not be on-line.:odd:

No-one likes someone who doesn't realise that real-life, out-side of school, doesn't happen!

Also, no-one likes anyone who is too keen to see results! They'll be up tomorrow with a question or two, most likely.

Hmmm, I too find his times suspect and whats more troubling is that del drove same car and didn't get the times he did. I usually don't like to be suspicious or untrustworthy, but something doesn't feel right.

i was looking at my other run i did with horsepower ajustments that i was looking at and different compounds i did in that run so thats all i have to say

OK, I suppose that I can accept that as an explanation. We have all read times wrong, but not usually THAT wrong!

Surely you must have realised when you were checking your fastest lap times against your qualifying time that something was greatly amiss? I mean to be doing laps only .7ish slower on harder tyres must have rang some bells, somewhere?
You can usually count on approx 1-1.5 seconds difference per compound at least!

PLEASE resend me your CORRECT times ASAP, including your correct fastest lap time!

And a little advice: Don't play around with HP and weight settings on the same car you are racing in a series, AND, then save the replay! That's just stupid!:dunce:

Also: Don't do it again!:grumpy:

You are competing against some of the fastest and most savvy drivers in GT4 when you are using GTPlanet, and we don't suffer fools or cheats gladly! This board is based on TRUST, and respect!
We tollerate the occasional slip-up, but only the occasional one. And never the same one twice in a short period of time!

Always double check you have your settings correct, always double check you are taking your times off the correct replay, and always double check you have typed them in correctly before you send the PM.

Most of the Long Race Series forum drivers have been GTPlanet members for years, and have built up a level of trust that will take you a while to get to.
And incidents like this one won't help you gain our trust quickly. On the plus side, you have fessed up to you mistake quickly.

And can you please try and edit your posts if you want to add a comment, double posts just make the threads look messy and bloat them out so it's harder to keep track of things. And they take longer to load for those guys who aren't blessed with ADSL or cable connections.

You did quite well your self... in three different cars! I was confused about the results and thought "Wow, I guess he can't decide which one he likes best"
 
You saw me in three different cars ! :crazy: .. i only took two to the track .. hmmmmm

Knew the 787 was more suited to the circuit so threw it in to prove it to myself , but only raced one set of the race distance in each car .
 
I know, I'm doing the amendments now.

It takes time to do, using 3 different prog's.

Not a bad start for a rookie ehh. It's pretty much impossible to get first on your first race (if unless you super talented that is). Very close battle for first in the championship.
