OK gentlemen, This is the 7th race in the series and the first City course in the calendar.
Most of us first met this track seriously, while doing the licence tests in GT3 & 4. So of us (like myself) fell in love with it, some of us hate it, but we all remember how hard it is to be fast and smooth over the lumps and bumps of the streets of Seattle!

Official welcome to two new drivers this week, GT4 Defistation (who raced last time out too) and to GTveteran who is joining us for the first time this race!

Qualifying settings:
Location : Arcade mode – Time Trial – City courses - Seattle Reverse
Tyres: RSS (Qualifying) compound only.
2 Wheels on track at ALL times. (Rumble strips are classed as track)
Use the P/W settings below.

Race Settings:

MILD tyre wear - 23 Laps - Penalties set to: Speed Limiter
Tyres Front : RS/RM Tyres Rear :RS/RM/RH.
You MAY use miss-matched tyre compounds front and back.
Driving Aids: TCS is optional, ASM is not allowed
Use the P/W settings below

STD Car – Power / Weight Limits – P/W Ratio
Jag : 0% @ 914Hp / -6% @ 840Kg = 1.088 Hp/Kg
R89C : +5% @ 954Hp / +0% @ 900Kg = 1.060 Hp/Kg
R92CP : +2% @ 958Hp / +0% @ 900Kg = 1.064 Hp/Kg
88CV : +0% @ 906Hp / -1% @ 841Kg = 1.077 Hp/Kg
C9 : -2% @ 908Hp / +1% @ 901Kg = 1.008 Hp/Kg
787 : +3% @ 815Hp / +0% @ 830Kg = 0.982 Hp/Kg
905 : +15% @ 918Hp / +0% @ 750Kg = 1.224 Hp/Kg

General Rules:
Standard OLR Rules apply
Try to keep 2 wheels on track at all times in the race (Rumble strips are classed as track)
No wall contact, no cheating, no hybrids etc, etc
AI contact is allowed, but NO penalties are allowed
Always stay within the 'spirit' of the rules

Track Specific Rules:
ALL areas of the track are allowed.

Duration:
numberoneaq1bvm2.gif

Starts: Saturday 3rd November. Ends: Sunday 11th November @ 23:59.999 GMT
Therefore you have 9 days including 2 weekends to complete both qualifying and the race.
Please PM your qualifying / Race time & fastest lap-time for your chosen car to myself (Tyre King) before the deadline. (Format at bottom of page)

Final Words:
You are free, in-fact actively encouraged, to discuss ALL times in qualifying, and you can discuss fastest lap times in the race, just not your final times.
You are also encouraged to give details on tyre-wear, handling, and anything else relating to the cars.

But above all, have fun.

Any problems, just PM either myself or Phil and we will sort it ASAP.

Let's have at it!

Yet again there was a problem with Gt Defistation's submission, it was over 24 hrs late!
I have included his times in the tables, so everyone can see how he did, but can't include him in any points. Deadlines are just that, deadlines!

I will let others debate about his submitted times. Most notably how he again submitted a really fast time (45 seconds faster than Racecar), with a slower fastest lap than I did, with exactly the same pit-stop strategy as me.

Just doesn't make sense, again! Another typo?

Neil

Now this will be an interesting challenge. I'm gonna get a good feel for the circuit before I go full attack.

Results Go Here!
What about the Beer then?:D

The 787 should win here .. though i'm planning on pouring some sand into it's petrol tank 💡

First Splits:

T1: 0'15.028

T2: 0'48.705

I've had a blast running through here and I think there is a bit more room for improvement, but for now I'm loving it.

First splits today with the R92CP

T1: 15.145

T2: 49.867

This track is easy with the R92CP, but the bad thing is when you get on the rumble strips the tires spin.

If you want to know what my team name is its Cadena Motorsport. I have yet to choose a sponsor.

And I thought I'd chosen No.23??

To my disbelief I ran a 2 stopper with the 787 on RM's. On different cars I did 3 stoppers. I fully agree with Delfino that the 787B will win this. Although I need to work on my qualifying time.

Amazing run with the 787 today. Very, very good car for this track. The 787 sticks like glue. The R92CP isn't worth testing anymore.

T1: 14.601

T2: 48.472

I may get you this time RACECAR.:sly:

Hey Marty!

You are gonna have to decide which car you are going to drive mate, the C9 or the 787.

I can't have this 'swapping car' idea getting hold, now GT4's got the idea in his head too.

Basically, you sign up to use a car and you stick to it, OK guys?

Neil

15.837 and 49.812 for the two sectors in the old Nissan. Shes doing not too badly around here.

Hey Neil .. i'll be using the C9 .. only used the 787 as well in the last race to prove to myself it was the better car , considering the race/circuit specs ..... the C9 was what i signed up with and the C9 will be the only car Del should get results with 👍

Done the race once, with what I think is a fairly good strategy. 2 stops!

Maybe give it another run on Saturday if I get time.

Neil

T1: 0'14.012

T2: 0'46.702

Boy, The toyota is definately for driving like a bat out of hell.

GT4 defistation

I hope not:nervous: But i am getting better still not feeling up to do this though. I might just send my first times that I did earlyer this week.
Not to be mean or anything but RACECAR your splits seem pretty fast, too fast i should say.

I guarantee you those are the exact splits. It has taken me many tries to get the time I got. I have a replay for proof if you would like to see.

Dels just arrived home from a weekend up the coast .. fishing trip ... with some kangaroos {amazing how wild kangaroos let you walk within 4 feet of them} ... hope to get some laps in to-night / not sure i will though .

Sorry GT4 Defistation : Times over 24hrs late will not be accepted.

Neil

Wow, even after two bad spinouts I had, I still won? Thats incredible. Looks like GT4 once again has questionable times but seeing as he was under the weather this time, might be just some typos on his part. And TK, How did you fair on the circuit?

Yeah, I know, cut him some slack! Would have helped if he sent the times 24 hrs earlier that he did, he was online over his illness.

And I did OK! No spins or problems, just too slow overall because of the abysmal tyre choice I made.
Too hard for the majority of the race, then softer (which I should have used for the whole race) for the final stint.
Too many races plus testing plus RL = only one run on some races that would have benefited from a second go.
Never mind eh? Live and learn.

Neil

Hah third on my first race. I'm well chuffed even though it was really slow. I didn't get the chance to try very different pit strategies, I was going for consistency first. And then I ran out of time. At least I know for next time.

And congrats Racecar well done.
