Wooooohoooo! For the benefit of us who don't live in the UK......

Just found out, they've reassembled the original cast of the radio series, sadly minus Peter Jones (The Book) RIP, and are recording the continuation of the series, which ended at the end of the second book back in the late seventies.

The new episodes will cover the material in the last three books in the trilogy of five.

If you've a broadband connection you can listen to the episodes online at the following link.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/hitchhikers/index.shtml

Get in there quick, they'll only leave the most recent episode on there, the first one was broadcast today. :)

The first episode was last week, the second was yesterday. I have been listening and will continue to do so. Is it bad that I am only 24 yet love listening to Radio 4?

Thanks for pointing that out DQuaN, I just checked, sure enough the net-broadcast version plays for 7 days after the repeat radio broadcast on Thursday night.

This means you've got 2 days to catch the first (or thirteenth, if you like) episode, before the 2nd one becomes available.

For the same reason Mos Def is playing Ford Prefect. Who knows?

Still it'll be interesting to see him trying to pull off a Guildford accent!!
