hey all
i use the in car view and have noticed in some of the gtplanet videos on youtube that the racers have been able to look out of the side view windows,i dont know if it is just me but i cannot find the button on the controller to allow me to do that,if someone on here can let me know how this can be done,it would be a great help,many thanks and by the way,raced spyrrari today for the very first time and got taught a lesson on how i need to be quicker at gt,he was staying behind me but i could see that i was like a rabbit in his headlights and he could of passed me at any time he wanted to,nice racing spyrrari-i need to make my 1.44s into 1.41s-yeah right-if only-still,wont be for the lack of trying-good luck to one and all

If you go to the main option settings, select controller options and you can assign buttons to look left and right, i use L1 to look left and R1 for right.

I use circle for right and square for left. Kinda weird, i guess. I would prefer R1 and L1, for instance, but i'm so used to having those buttons as shift up and down. I'm also very stubborn so far as R2 and L2 go...these have been my handbrake and "look behind" for years.

You can assign it to a stick, too, for better control. I have mine assigned to the right stick because I use the triggers for gas/brake.

I have it on L2 and R2.

Btw. you can also set the on-the-fly-tuning options to the controller.
I dont use it but mapped it (L3 and the menu pops-up and i can navigate with the d-pad through it).

My Pad-Setup....(in german)

Bremse=brake
Spiegel=mirror
Rückwärts=reverse
Handbremse=handbrake
Lenken=steer
EE=quicktuning on the fly

The right stick allows you to progressively look all the way to the left or right - not just full left or right, but the 'middle' as well. A cool option:sly:
