I just realized it tonight. That the Diablo is by far one of our most precious exotic cars. IMO, there's just something about it being still that it accomplishes what no other car has done. But I can't tell what it is, the body style, the engine, heck, even the maker? But still, IMO, its a fascinating car that has something about some people just can't reach. With quite a few special editions of it made, it still amazes me. Ok, now let me clear one thing up, I'm talking about the '90's Diablo VT. Now I've seen a few. But models such as the SE30, and the SV are awesome. SO I decided to make a thread where we can discuss things about this amazing car.

I hope alot of you share the same views on it as I do. Thanks GTP Members.

The Diablo is a amazing car. It also is one of the most famous. Its one of the first cars I ever knew about. The car is quite popular to the younger group. But it still is a awesome car to this day.

You don't think it's the exhaust note that so addicting? I know that I love the exhaust note on it, the deep, monstrous burble that turns into a shriek when putting the foot down.

Or is it perhaps the cars top speed of 120km/h in reverse gear? :scared:

I'm not good with km/h. How fast is that in MPH?

The engine is also something I agree on. It has monster sound.

Theres a racing one in Australia and it sounds so nice, looks wicked too!

120 kph is about 75 mph. I love Diablos, but I like the Murcielago more  That thing rocks my socks!

The Diablo is the first car I ever really, really wanted - a yellow SV, or maybe a VT, with rear wing and the pop-up headlamps. I got to sit in one in July, as well as a 360. You have to have muscles the size of footballs to actually change gear; I can't imagine using one every day, but you'd be knackered at the end of every journey.

I know the kit versions can be bult on Fieros, but can the Replicas? Or are the replicas built from scatch. And to tell the truth, and seem a poser, but I wouldn't mind driving a replica. Sry, but its got the looks. Or at least some do.

See this.

It could be mine. If I sell my car, and get alot more cash. :sly:

Just a question, but are Replicas worth it from North American Exotic Cars? They specialize in Diablo Replicas and are recommended as the #1 Diablo Replica place. So are they worth the price for 40K?

The return.

Found out today that 4 SE30s (including Jotas) are in Monaco.

I can believe that since the whole country is rich as hell.

mclarenf1gtr; i agree with the kit car.... plus you wouldn't have to pay a years salary for insurance alone :P .... best place i've seen is called Triangle G... i dont think they make the early 90's model though.... they do make the the later 97-98 roadster editions (my favorite :) ) ..... all you need is a donor fiero, they stretch the chassis 10.5", then the kit is $4900.... just takes time to put it on... then you can get the headlights/taillights/windshield glass etc for just about $1000 .... get a paintjob.... and some wheels, you've got a lamborghini diablo roadster for less than $20k :) .... here's one of their finished cars:

That's awesome. The front looks a little strange, but hey, that's me.
Here's North American Exotic Replicas...

don't they just do the turnkey kits? .... or do they sell the body pieces so you can make it yourself for about $20k cheaper than the turnkeys models? :P

I think they do Turnkey a bunch, but if you come in and ask for one to be built, they may do it. The black one I first posted wasn't Turnkey. From what I read, all their Turnkey models have been '95 to '98 Diablo Models.

I like the Diablo, but for me, the ultimate Lambourghini would be a Countach.:bowdown:
