Hello!

I actually don't even know too much about PS3 and Grand Turismo but this game made enormous impression on me so I was wonder if it's worth to start hard with it. By start hard I mean to buy PS3 80GB (HDD is unavailable) and Logitech G25.I heard that producers driven all of cars to whom we are having access in gt and they tried to make this game as realistic as possible. In addition this graphics, it's stunnishing! I'm really big fan of cars, I used to play on wheel on PC in for example - Colin McRae 5, but I would to do a step forward. Many people claims that all series GT is the best simulator ever.

I would like to few things. How reliability hardware is it (Both - G25 & PS3)? Does it worth their prices? For what else should I look for (if these things have any sensible competition)?

To be honest I never even held any PS in my hands - so is there something I should know? I will have to connect it to TV, right? Actually I got 40" TV, what would be difference in quality between HDD and usual one?

I am thanking in advance!

For a demo, its not disappointing, but to buy a ps3 just because of it alone is kinda senseless. Buy some other cool FULL games as well. GRID works with the logitech and is a good choice, it has online too. If you like WRC then try out Colin McRae Dirt(also works with logitech). But mine, and other persons on GTP's favourite might be Formula 1 Championship Edition. Great game(also works).

There you go, I gave you some good games. Now go buy a PS3 and be somebody!!!!

The PS3 and G25 are very reliable and have good customer support should something go wrong (especially Logitech)

Well thats different for everyone, for me yes it is worth it. But if you want to lay down all that money just for GT5P then while you are at it you should look at some other titles too. Like Ferrari Challenge, Grid, Dirt etc, to make the PS3 even more worth while. Soon enough (hopefully by then end of the year) the FULL Gran Turismo 5 experience will be available.

Yep, you connect it to the TV, it depends on the TV what quality to set it to. A standard definition TV you just plug the PS3 in with the AV cables that come with the console. If you have a HDTV you could buy a HDMI or Component cables (cheap) and set the highest resolution your TV supports (1080P is highest). The higher the resolution the nicer the picture.

Considering it's the prologue, I'd say buying a PS3 just for this game is a bit much, however, if the full game was out I'd give you a go ahead.

As for the G25 that is a very good investment... Since it'll work with your PC sims and it'll work once/when/if you get your PS3 and GT5P/GT5. I've also heard wonderful things about Logitech support.

Well, it's probably not the most realistic sim ever, but it's very good for a console game.

I'm going to back up what others have said, since GT5P is only a demo, you might want to hold off getting it. Maybe you could try to find a way to play it before you decide. The final product should be well worth the price.

As for the PS3, I am very satisfied with it. Since 2006, it hasn't given any major issues (a bit finicky though, it's been treated kind of rough). I bought another in 07 because I left the first to my brother, and it too is rock solid. There are quite a few games of various types to help you get through the wait for GT5. Ferrari Challenge (sim like) and Grid (not sim, but better than NFS) are good racers.

Actually, it is not a demo. A demo is always free of charge. It is a little glimpse of a game that we all are waiting so hard here. And, If I didn't have PS3 yet, GT5P would be one of the main reasons to buy it. Also, I would recommend you to take a look at DFGT wheel reviews around internet. It is a wheel of good quality with a lower price tag.

Thanks.

Soon enough (hopefully by then end of the year) the FULL Gran Turismo 5 experience will be available.

I planned to play in holidays on PS3, currently I am too busy. And holidays are beginning for me in June, with reference to PJ-FFL, it I will have to wait a bit before I become somebody;)

So, the conclusions : it seems to be solid, good equipment, I will go for it!
The first thing which I'm going to buy will be the wheel, because I can use it with the PC;) PS3 will wait a bit longer;d

Thanks all for help

Yea, the DFGT is a good, cheap wheel, but if you want good feel and the ability to use the H shift and sequintial, paddle with the option of a clutch, the G25 is your happy place.
