Well ok this isnt that much of a review, more a summary as i find this film hard to review.

Its good, but for no realy obvious reason. Its funny, but not hilarious. Its good but not great. Pierce is very good though, ripping it out of his bond image. Although it does seem odd to here him swear.

It is a novel idea though a assassin who starts to lose it. (although slightly done in Analyze this).

7/10

Anyone else seen it??

Just, wow. You should go buy this movie.

2006 has been very good year for me, as far as the DVDs go. My coworker recommended this movie to me, and he's been on a bit of roll recently(Elizabethtown, Feast, etc.), and this one's the best one yet.

Pierce Brosnan plays Julian. A hitman who befriends an American businessman, Danny one night in Mexico City. Danny is played by Greg Kinnear. Julian is in Mexico City for another job, while Danny is desperate to close a critical business deal. Julian is bit crazy. He is bi, drinks and smokes too much, while Danny is almost the opposite. Nevertheless, they are really drawn to each other.

One day, Julian asks Danny to help him with this job he's there to do. Even offers to pay him for his service. This of course scares Danny off, until he finds out that he might lose his business deal to the competitor, which in turn, might tear his family apart.

This is a interesting, stylish and fun comedy. I think this is the best I've seen Pierce Brosnan act. I had no idea he had it in him. Greg Kinnear's his old self. No classic moment, but always fun to watch. Music's great, too. Especially at the end, right after the quiet climax. How refreshing.

I'd give it a "A-". Seriously, if you haven't seen it, you should go rent it.
