This is why I like fighter jets so much. Reminicent of my day at Oshkosh. 'cept breaking mach, though the B1B Lancer got close.

EDIT: See Encyclopedia's post below. ^^

I suppose the recent news and footage of the low-flying Jet on the news trigged off this thread, eh? ;) In fact, the third to last video in the first post is the footage. Quite insane...

Knocked him out cold too. It was actually pretty funny to hear him talk about it, and then to see the wing and its melon sized dent afterwards.

oh, it HIT him?

well... that's different. Kinda funny, had he not been hurt so bad.

This one is a classic.

Sorry I don't know how to put the clip up directly on here.

Language Warning!

To directly link Youtube clips, you need to use the Youtube tags and insert the code of the video (which is the letters after the = sign in the url...)

[youtube*] code [/youtube*] (but without the *'s)....

e.g. for the url http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xh2W4C00FZ0, you need only the "xh2W4C00FZ0" and surround them with the tags...

By the way, that video is funny , but you should add a language warning, since it's a tad sweary (albeit understandably!)

i think that car is sweet
Too bad it would high-center on a pound coin. I'm with Fred - idiotic.
👎

On the original 'low' note, anybody familiar with the Red Bull air race series? Kind of like autocross for aerobatic pilots:

I't s okay. It's just easier to access now. ^^ I'll remove mine, since yours is a bit more convenient.

Ray Hanna in a Spitfire (I think). I was looking for his flying down the pitstraight at the Goodwood Revival Meeting in 1998, but I can't find any pictures of it. Found that on my travels through the Internet.

my dad was at that goodwood revival when he flew down the pit straight! :D wish i was there lol i thought i was close enough standing in line with the landing strip there lol
