You guys aren't going to believe this.

This story took me well over an hour to read, however it was worth it - I've never read anything like it (and I'm not likely to in the future).

If you haven't got a lot of time, don't read it, because if you read only a bit then stop in the middle, you'll be dying to find out how it ends.

That story was awesome.

Thanks for posting a link to it, M5.:)

Well to bad I cant read, can someone please do a little recap of what the story is about.

"...except on a check."

This story is pretty awesome! :) (Still reading...)

Best story ever! It seems so unreal, but so simple at the same time.

:looks through junk mail: :D

That story's excellent!

That story 0wned! I gotta admit, that guy is a better man than I. :smilewink

Oh, is that the guy who deposited the fake prize check?

If it is, I read that a couple of years ago. That story is a riot. Something I would do if I had more free time than I knew what to do with.

I know why M5 enjoyed it.

"I walked along two miles of coast listening to Bruce Springsteen’s Lucky Town CD on my DiscMan"

I've read it before. Very interesting

Actually, I had noticed that line and was impressed at the coincidence, though 'Lucky Town' was a comparatively poor CD.

Good story. I was surprised that I hadn't heard it before.

I was hoping for a different ending though. But all in all, what a great tale!
