I'd like to know what cars gtplanet users think handle the most realistically in the game.

Personally, I tend to find there are some cars that handle too easily to be realistic, but am I simply showing a bias towards thinking that more difficult = more realistic?

(Predictably) I find that some of the MR and RR cars handle more realistically. If you want realism, is the answer to use comfort tyres?

What do you reckon?

Waiting for someone to say "Yep the FXX is exactly like in real life"

The Mx-5s are pretty well modeled out, good fun and easy steering in game and real life.

The Honda Preludes in the game behave similar to their real life counterpart but there are some differences.

Most realistic tires are somewhere between Comfort Medium and Comfort Softs as those are usually the road tires (a lot of tread and grooves), but the Sports tires are pretty rare for use in a regular road car. Besides the higher marques, you won't see many of those unless you buy them yourself for a track day.

So to respond to OP, I'd go with Comforts for the average road cars to get a realistic handling feel (although using an MR2 on Comfort Softs is pretty difficult.)

I think the GTI is pretty close, they don't have a MK6 in this game, but MK5's platform is basically similar and the behavior is close. Much like real life, it handles good, but its not a lively car like say, the ST is. I feel like the gain from going from Comfort Soft to Sports Hard is not dissimilar when I switched from Pilot Super Sports to RE-11A, one is a good summer tire, the other is just

The AE86 feels pretty good. Now that I use a wheel I can sort out the differences better. It's got that small understeer before snap oversteer, and it's still pretty slow. It's slow but it's still a dang pleasure to drive, so I give the AE86 a thumbs up now! Plus it looks really good now =P
